Hi ladies, this is probably a P&R because I'm going to head to the gym.

Muni and J, I'm so glad you guys had good trips!

I just got home from the shore yesterday and I haven't unpacked yet, but I need to. I'm going to finally really clean out my room. Ya know... like I've been saying I'd do for the last 3 months.

That must be the case, Loops.

J, why's that? I don't like the pro-boards exodus just because there will never be fresh blood there. People will drift off and it will die sooner or later.

Basically that's my main reason, MUNI. I also don't like the format. And I'm not sad about the absence of some people here because they're there, so I would hate to ruin that by...going where they are. I am sad at the absence of some people here because they're there, but I'm FB friends with most of them, so it's not the end of the world.

I am currently doing a little bit of both boards. I don't plan on abandoning E, but with the mass exodus I've been able to keep up here and post some over there.

Yeah, I think it's their combined board everyone has been wanting. I haven't poked around too much over there though, so I could be wrong. But SB is even more dead than E, so I think it's a safe assumption.

Wally, don't know of any 5Ks around the 4 corners area but I'll check. You could always bring Nerdy Girl and stay with us. We're only about 20 minutes from great hiking in the Superstitions.

I am debating on whether to find a new hairstylist that doesn't live 30 miles away. But I love mine so much.

But I need a haircut like, forever ago because I haven't cut it since October of last year and what the hell I need to get that shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitfuckingknot fixed.

Ugh, I know. My person works 40 miles away, and I haven't gotten a cut since Christmas. I need to, but it's SO FAR.

zizi, loubs are not exactly in my budget, as much as I lusted over them. I did buy a pair of Repettos from their Cannes store which was very exciting. That brand invented the ballet flat and supplied pointe shoes to the Paris Opera house back in the early-mid 1900s

Yeah its close to school and my parents house J, but I should find somewhere closer to my house. I just hate finding a new person because i don't want her to fuckshitup. My hair is currently almost down to my butt now.

musu: I know exactly what you are saying. My SIL cuts my hair at her house....and I really need a haircut, but her business (not cutting hair) has picked up and she said she doesn't have time to do it. I meant to call a salon today and forgot. I think I am just afraid of going to someone new.

I was kind of sad to leave my hairstylist in OH, but she was a little more expensive than I was comfortable paying. She used to work for an Aveda salon when I started seeing her, and she did fashion week and trained the other salon employees on the new styles and stuff that Aveda came up with so she was in their top price range, but I always felt pampered and stuff when I left. Then she moved to a different place that was more of a "rent a chair" but still with Aveda products, but all the extras disappeared but her prices stayed the same. I live behind an Aveda salon now, so I just walked over there and hit it off with the first girl they put me with so I went to her twice and now she's moving away (her H is military) so I'm back to square 1. Hopefully the girl she recommended to replace her is good and a nice personality mesh. If not, I'll try H's girl, but she's downtown so it's 30 minutes to get there which is annoying.

My hair problem is that unless I go to my awesome, expensive, hairdresser, it looks like crap. But I'm too cheap to pay her that much unless I'm getting a major cut. Soooooo, I do it myself. Or get H to do it.

Yes, I have a hard time finding people that can cut my hair well. It's super fine and it has a weird partially straight partially wavy texture that gets out of control easily.

My hairdresser is probably considered "expensive" but it is what I've always paid for haircuts so I don't mind. I'm looking on yelp right now for recs in this area. Holly, I don't mind the length at all, but its the fact that is nasty and frayed to shitfuckinghellknotyoufuckingsuck, so I need it trimmed to healthy length at least.
