Anyone using a travel agent? I'm looking for one in the North Jersey (Bergen County) area. Please let me know! I normally would just book online but we are looking to go to multiple destinations which is makingg it a little more difficult.
I strongly recommend Carmen from All About Honeymoons. She was so incredibly knowledgeable, found us deals that we couldn't online, and managed our entire trip when it got canceled twice because of hurricanes (including tracking the storms during our wedding and calling DH the day after with suggestions for what to do). She rebooked the entire thing a third time in a completely new destination.
We are using Melissa Pavlick from Travel Leaders in Hillsdale... She is a HM specialist, as well. She got us a pretty sweet deal for our HM- I highly reccomend
I've used Liberty Travel a few times for all-inclusive Caribbean vacations and really like them... super easy/hassle-free.
For our honeymoon we are using Mindy Gilbert (My Vacation Lady, clicky) and we are very pleased with her so far. I was actually referred to her from someone on this board a while ago.
We're doing 2 weeks in Hawaii and planning the trip alongside our wedding was just too overwhelming for us. She's really quick to get back to us and put together our dream honeymoon within our budget. Highly recommend her!
