  FI and I were there very briefly. We are having our reception at the DoubleTree, and they just renovated their ballroom this past spring, so we were very eager to see it!

  
  

  We also wanted to speak with our coordinator, and maybe see if some of our vendors were there, but they were not, so we left quickly.

  @mek20, how was the doubletree?  We are getting married there in August and haven't seen it since it was remodeled?

  We thought it looked sooooo good. So much more modern than it was...

  
  

  If you are on facebook, search Doubletree Hotel Syracuse, and go their pictures to the album "Montgomery/Dixon Wedding" .

  The chairs in the pix are new, and the lighting looks so awesome, which was saw a little bit of today (except the regular lights in the room were on, of course). The walls are now a light gray color, and the carpet is a nice gray/black design.
