that i am not the only one who is NOT buying a new outfit for every party. I just can't justify spending all that extra money. I think i may for the bachelorette party but not the showers. G already has a hard time with how much i am spending on beauty (let's face it, the men get shafted) so i don't want to add more to that.
Is there anyone else not buying a bunch of new clothes?

[QUOTE]Nope, you're not alone. I'll never understand buying a new dress for the sole purpose of wearing it once, outside of my wedding dress.

<div>Even though some are buying a new dress for wedding festivites, that doesn't always mean they never intend to wear them again. </div><div>
</div><div>Example: I stated above that I will be buying a dress for our after party because I don't want my wedding dress to smell like campfire. I still want to wear a white dress since it is my wedding day. I won't wear the dress I get prior to this day, but I do intend to wear it as a summer dress following the wedding. I often look for clothes that I can wear to work as well. Many of the dresses I purchase are work appropriate with maybe a cardigan over them.</div>

The wedding dress will not be worn just once - I'm dying it blue to wear to a friend's wedding in September and again for a party in Barbados my parents are hosting.

Oh, I know. There are just A LOT of girls I know IRL who do buy dresses for one purpose and never wear them again. It boggles my mind. I own plenty of dresses already and I don't really care which one I wear to my pre-wedding parties. Just my personal preference.

[QUOTE]Heck, I'm not even wearing a dress to my bachelorette party. It will be more similar (or exact) to what I'm wearing in my current sig. :)

Same Reds game as FI's Bachelor party on different ends of the ballpark and a low-key lunch party at someone's house before hand.
