Zip, you have no idea how happy I am that you have someone amazing who is just like you and that you have a great relationship. I have done lots of research about asexual people and it can be such a problem for those who can't find someone willing to work with it and I'm so glad to see that's not the case for you.

Also, I love what Mutley said about sex being various levels of importance to different couples. I have friends who have sex with their SO every single day, and that's great, but they act like I'm crazy for not doing it as often. Different strokes for different folks .. :)

Can I get a "Amen!" for Mutley! 100% truth, delivered right to our screens.

Zip, thank you so much for being open! I'll be honest, I had never really heard of this before, and I am glad to have learned a little about it. I think it's great that you are willing to share, like Mutley said, in case there are other people that read this and learn more about themselves. I'm sorry that you went through a time that you thought you were "broken", it is sad when anyone has to go through that for any reason, but I'm glad you found answers! Also, I must say I'm glad you never pushed yourself to experience anything seriously sexual just because you thought you were supposed to. Too many teenagers and young people do that kind of thing, and I'm glad it's not something you forced on yourself.

What a very enlightening post this has been :)
