No, the doggie isn't much of a barker. But my parents had to put up with the neighbors barking dogs for years, so I feel your annoyance.

I have been doing really well, but it's nice out, I'm drinking and sitting on my porch, and the gas station is like 5 minutes away. I really want one. I won't smoke on vacation so at most, I would smoke today through Friday and be done.

Don't do it Smash! One of the biggest things for me when i quit smoking was to tell myself that i had gone X days and that was progress I didn't want to lose. Sure you might just smoke a few days but then you'll go through withdrawl again on vacation. It does get easier as time goes by but the desire doesn't go away completely. You can do it!

It really does genuinely gross me out. It grossed me out while I smoked. It made no sense for me to smoke but it helped keep me awake and de-stress while I was studying during the school year.

I'm trying really hard not to start again but I bet by mid-semester next schoolyear I will be.

Edit: To clarify, other people smoking doesn't particularly gross me out, but the smokes themselves grossed me out while I was smoking.

Just being around smokers makes me cough and hurts my eyes. I was really proud of my grandmas when they quit after smoking for 50 years.
