    Hello all!   I thought I'd pop in and say hello.  BFF was supposed to fly into town today, but she had a seizure Monday and was told no go by her doc:(   Since everyone else I know is at Lollapalooza tonight,  I'm being lazy and relaxing on the couch.

    Btw, all this guac talk has me jealous and hungry!

    Based on the applicant pool and the number of open spots, I have a 10% chance of getting in.  Not so hot.

    I will say, though, that I'm less afraid now of being potentially turned down.  I spoke to several former and current students, and about half of them had been rejected on their first app cycle, so I was just had this "oh, so it's not the end of the world?" epiphany.  That was cool.
