When to ask Flower Girl/ Ring Bearer?

I've asked everyone in my bridal party already, and am wondering when I should ask the families of our Flower Girl and Ring Bearer? We sent out Save the Date's almost a month ago, and both families are 100% attending so there is no question there. Not sure what etiquitte is here if there is any?

    I asked mine at the same time I asked the rest of the party. Granted, my fg is my matron of honors daughter, and one of my ring bearers is my stepson and the other is a boy who I consider my nephew although he isn't really. One exception was I asked a second flower girl about a month later because I decided I wanted 2 ring bearers and in turn 2 flower girls. Not sure if any of that helps but that's what I did and it worked fine.

    I would say ASAP if you've already got the rest of your wedding party on board.  It's a bit of a financial committment for the parents of these kiddos depending on what you want them to wear, so give them plenty of time to prepare, just like your WP.
