I'm around. And KJB. We actually have been carrying on 2 different conversations in 2 different threads. It is quiet here though tonight. H has some college game on. I find it very hard to get into college football though. College basketball I can do, but I love NFL.

I'm here too! (Not that you know me) I can't get into college football either. I'm watching Cops. This dude was so drunk and belligerent they had to put a helmet on him and strap his legs together!
I already made the most important decision- the rest are just details!
I am a Buffalo Bills fan born and bred, so Is H. But we are cheering for the Seahawks too while we are here. They are doing much better now than the Bills anyways.
Trying to get healthy enough to go to work tomorrow and trying to figure out how to not be an evil step mother.
SS has a year old puppy that is part pitbull and part mastiff and of course has hip problems. I'm getting ready for the phone call to ask us to pay for the surgery. Sad thing is, the International Bankof Dad has closed since we moved back to OZ. So how to say "no" to a puppy?

I'm studying to be a special ed teacher, doing student teaching right now. FI and I have been engaged since December, and I've been lurking here since January or Feb. And we finally finally found a venue and set a date! I'm so excited!

aMrs- I feel horrible for you. I'm such a sucker for dogs and animals that I'd probably go broke to pay for it. But dog surgeries aren't cheap. Can he do a payment plan with the vet? Or (and see this is where H says I have credit card issues) open a credit card just for the surgery?

I was born in Tennessee but wasn't there long enough to remember anything. I have lived on Bainbridge Island since I was 6 months old and everyone calls me a native. The Seahawks are my home team and I will always root for them.
Well we're already in the hole every month with just the fixed costs of living here.
My (current) attitude is his mother can sell one of their horses to cover the costs of the puppy. We dont have our own pet because we know we can't afford the upkeep. Plus, SS calls it "his dog" but seeing as how he's at boarding school except for two weekends a month, its really his mothers and half-sisters dog.

Yeah you'll be fine. We planned our wedding in about 5 months after we set the date, and I loved it. i couldn't imagine planning for longer. It forces you to just make decisions and not dwell on it or second guess yourself. And I was a semi-Chargers fan last year since I had Philip Rivers and Vincent Jackson on my fantasy team.
And since I have a hard time saying no to a puppy too, it may boil down to SS has to make a choice. He gets the money for the surgery OR he gets to come out to stay with us over Christmas break, but not both. But then that may lead to SD not coming out if SS doesn't, so who knows.

Thank you! H and I are both from Niagara Falls, NY, so we were married there. We went to the actual Niagara Falls for pictures in between the ceremony and reception, so this pic is along the rapids. Since we were moving we wanted to have pictures from the falls to remind us of home.
