I gotta say, Jcbsr with the snooping thing, and then the crazy lady who read her FI's e-mail and whatnot to find out her gifts. After dealing with my brother and not ever being able to leave anything around because I couldn't trust him not to steal or go through it, I can't imagine not being able to trust FI, even just with gifts.

I don't know, I thought the "flaming" of jcb was a little over the top (not that what anyone said was bad, but that person after person came in and posted the exact same "OMG YOU SNOOPED? WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU YOU JERKFACE?!" response). Ok, we get it. You're all outraged that she snooped. She KNEW it was lame. She SAID it was lame. You guys told her it was lame. Over. And over. And over again. Get off it and tell her about Macs.

I really don't think the snooping thing was as big of a deal as people are making it out to be. Then again, my family and Noodle's family are of the "tell me what you want for Christmas/your birthday so I know what to get you" field. So it's very rare that people don't already know what they're getting for the holidays. The only person who doesn't do that is me, but only for Noodle because I really like getting him all hyped up for his presents 3 weeks early when he doesn't know what he's getting.

With the mac thing, it almost seemed like she wanted a flaming. She could have just as easily posted something like: I might be getting a mac for Christmas. What's up with macs? Tell me the 411. Then there would have been no flames. Instead she told the story of her elaborately ridiculous behavior.

Ehh, I don't mind her. If i saw the awesomeness that is SB after hanging out with some of those nutjobs on May 2011, I would be over here as fast as I could too. Can you blame her, especially since some of the sane May 2011 people came over as well?

I snooped a lot before DH and I got married, just to see if he had bought a ring yet. Good things he's smarter then I am, considering I moved it around the house for months and didnt know it.

I agree that she says and does ridiculous things, but I think she handles herself well once she gets flamed. I mean, she keeps getting flamed for something that happened a couple weeks ago, yet she takes it in stride and keeps posting. Frankly, I was happy she posted what she did yesterday. I saw so much of myself prior to learning to manage my stress in her post and instead of slapping her upside the head (which she totally deserved, and I'm glad she got), I wanted to give her a hug and say "but there's another way! It doesn't have to be like that!"

Yep, and anyone else that does it all the time. I think every parent does it from time to time, but I judge the ones that always refer to their children as "my kid".

Alli- I like her and like I said, I think she means well. I hope she stays around because 1. some of those May '11 girls are bsc and 2. she seems very nice. It just seems like she's trying too hard to fit it.

I should add that Jcbsr wasn't nearly as big of a deal as the chick who said she went through all her FI's e-mails, and since he kept getting surprises e-mailed to him, he obviously didn't know she was doing it. THAT'S what the last part of mine was about.

That troll last night was really, really lame (Joe Momma or whatever). Maybe I'm Captain No Fun but I really, really don't like trolls. I got the feeling that whoever was behind it probably posts on SB although I don't have any evidence to support it. But it was a stupid post (kids who always smell like urine, meth mom? come on now) and I felt like even for a troll the comments she made were over the line.
