    I'm a little grumpy today, too.  I'm sad that, even though FI got to be here for the weekend, he's back in Dallas today and I'm spending Valentine's Day by myself.

    This morning when we woke up, FI said, "Happy Valentine's Day. I know this is totally and completely spontaneous, but -- surprise! We're going to St. Lucia and we leave in three days!"

    Then I hit him with a pillow.

    No plans today other than cleaning the apartment. We have our Judaism class tonight, and then he's either taking me for pizza or to the diner for our Valentine's Day feast. I'm super excited that I don't have to cook.

    LOL Bside. It reminded me, a friend of mine told his very pregnant wife " I can't wait for the baby to come so I can have all the blow jobs I want." Ahh, the joys of bringing another life to this earth.

    My boss is slowly giving his duties to who is going to be my new manager and I have a feeling she's going to be a dreadful biitch to work for. She's already finding all sorts of unnecessary things for us to do. With the exception of my heart shaped pizza, this v-day has put me in a mood.

    I hope all the sickies out there feel better soon! 

    I'll join the grumpy and the sick club -- I seem to have come down with a cold, and H has been at work for nearly 24 hours and I know he's just gonna want to crash when he gets home. Sounds like our V-day will be spent in bed, and not in the good way. :(

    BF and I had a picnic in the park yesterday to "celebrate," but we're exchanging gifts/cards this evening.  Nothing fancy, we said only small gifts.  I guess I should make something yummy for dinner.  I probably need to go to the grocery store...

    bside- have a super time in St Lucia! FI and I stopped there on a southern Caribbean cruise last year and it was gorgeous. Make sure to go to the beach that lies between the Pitons.

    Does he usually work 24 hour shifts?  BF has to 2-3 times a monthes and it takes days for his brain to work right afterwards.

    Funny you mention that because we're going down there for my FI's sister's wedding and I think that's where she's getting married!

    I'm not grumpy or sick... and if I was, I probably wouldn't notice!  I'm far too busy and stressed.  I've overpromised myself, and I'm running low on time.  YIKES!

    Does anyone else hate V day?  I do...  But anyways I guess I can join the grumpy club too... I have class all day so we wont be doing anything.  It's alright though.  I am not grumpy because of that.  Just had a hard week.

    Ellusive007, My vote is for baked ziti! I love pasta, so I might be a bit biased. 
    Ericsbabygirl-that's really awesome of you SO remembering to do something nice for you with all he's dealing with. Chemo is seriously intense. Hope everything goes well with that!

    Happy V-Day everyone!  I introduced myself in that one post, but I'm Brandi.  :)  And I just got the courage to start posting recently.  No, I did not get engaged today, but I am currently using this time to procrastinate the corrections for a paper that was due "by a reasonable hour today".  Oh well.  One can only change so many endings and grammar forms before gouging one's eyes out.

    I actually had a really good day - got an A on my first organic chem test, and an interview for grad school...but usually, I'm grumpy.  May I join the club as well?
