• Uggh I am going to bed. Sorry :(

I have to be rested so I can spend the next three days studying biochem.

• I have to agree with Dagney. there are things that can be changed (like how a person projects themselves, reactions to others, etc) and things that can't (like their looks, to a point).

and ricks, good luck on that. biochem sucks ass.

• I agree for the most part that looks are off limits because they can't be changed as easily as attitude or how you speak on the boards. I also definitely think looks are off limits because we are girls, and girls are weird about their looks.

I will say that I always cringe when people are made fun of for their spelling and grammar (even in a joking way), especially when they are just asking or responding to a question. My brother has horrible dyslexia and I always worry he is teased about it still, both IRL and online. A lot of times, people assume that other people are idiots or lazy when they have a disability. Now, if someone is TyPinG LyK dIs and telling people they are "MorAns" then that is a different story.

I don't like it when people make this assumption. Yes, it gets annoying when people spell certain words wrong over and over again or use the wrong form of their/there/they're, but no one should assume the person is an idiot for that. Sometimes it really just is an accident.
I'm very well aware of the differences between to/too/two, but often I'll hit the submit button without realizing I left out an o. It's an honest mistake and I don't deserve to be called illiterate for that.
