LOL I was wondering why you were so confused.  That's what I get for not saying the whole name.  Silly me for thinking everyone knows the short terms of names ;)

We had a newcomer meeting at church last night and another couple said they're from Chippewa and it took the deacon a second to register it was Chippewa Falls and not it's own city

  • Ninda, I graduated in December 2008. From January 2009-2011 I was subbing in two districts. I had a few interviews but I was never offered a full-time job. I also worked nights and weekends at Home Depot.

There's so many people in my area with an Elementary Education degree that it's hard enough even being one of the applications they look at in-depth. I got an office job in January 2011 where I love working and it's super awesome having nights and weekends free again.

This year and last summer I slacked off on filling out applications for teaching positions so I obviously didn't get any interviews. The wedding has consumed too much of my time.

Once we're married, I'm going to start filling out applications in full force again. Plus, if I want to keep my certification, I have to start taking grad classes in 2013.

I'm loving this thread - I love to read everyone's responses!

If I could have one superpower, it would be the ability read minds or to apparate (obsessed with Harry Potter)

My "guiltiest" pleasure is cheesy pasta.  Either macaroni & cheese (Kraft) or these little Knorr sides, I love to eat a huge bowl in sweatpants while watching an hour long TV show that I can fast-fwd the commercials in.  With noone around to interrupt/judge me.

I don't give a rats ass about conditions in prisons (besides extreme terrible-ness)___ even though it makes me an asshole/non PC/etc.  Don't be a criminal in the first place!!!

If I could change one thing about my past it would be nothing because it got me here.  I might have been less hurtful to my HS boyfriend, he was a good guy and didn't deserve what I put him through.

My most annoying habit is being judgmental.  I can't stop it and I know I sound like a terrible person, but really we all judge a little!

If I had to choose a different name, I would name myself...  I wouldn't change my name, I like it (Michelle).  I might change my last name because it's boring, but that'll happen in 94 days anyway!

If I could travel through time only once and stay there, I would transport myself to the decade - 1980s because my hair is naturally curly & is humongous if I leave it alone, so I really should have been a teenager/in my twenties in the 80s so I could have rocked it out.

If America is ever going to get back on track, it needs to focus on education & less on people that don't want to work but want to be provided for.  They're stealing from our children's future!

If money were no object, my career would be a ballerina.  This also requires me to not have a chest or any other body fat, so it's sort of more than just the money that's holding me back from my true prima ballerina potential!

If I were omnipotent for a day, I would cure cancer, erase world hunger, set up awesome schools in struggling countries, & get the Middle East & North Korea to cut the sh!t and behave. Also, cure frizz.

If I could have one superpower, it would be unlimited knowledge and intelligence.

My "guiltiest" pleasure is Mountain Dew and ridiculous TV shows.

I don't give a rats ass about words even though it makes me an asshole/non PC/etc.
They are only as powerful as we allow them to be. I don't think we need to define people by their color, religion or anything else either. I'm very anti PC.

If I could change one thing about my past it would be...I can't think of anything that I'd change that would allow me to be here, now, with the life I have. Maybe I'd have been more responsible with money, if I had to choose something, that would be it. I was pretty irresponsible when I was younger.

My most annoying habit is interrupting people (stole this from Chelsea b/c its sooooooooo true for me as well).

If I had to choose a different name, I'd pick something equally unique to my own. But if I had the choice, I wouldn't. I like my name. The name I have chosen for a daugher is only significant b/c we'd be naming her after her dad, my FI.

If I could travel through time only once and stay there, I would transport myself to the decade of.... If I could travel to visit, I'd go back and meet Jesus, but I'm too dependent on running water and electicity, so if I had to remain somewhere, I'd probably choose the 50s.

If America is ever going to get back on track, it needs to decrease government involvement (stealing Chelsea's answer again, totally agree).

If money were no object, my career would be stay at home mom. :) Same answer, again.

If I were omnipotent for a day, I would
do all of the typical things, stop war, erradicate world hunger, cure cancer, etc

Good one about prisons Michelle. I have to admit that I kind of care but I don't think they should have TVs and I don't care how comfortable their beds are.
