Hey , I'm so sorry you r going thru this. Not seeing you on mother's day bc mother in law more important. Nonsense . Sounds like the gf is a chip off old block of mom. Sounds like sons gf is a well....brat. idk best advice other than talk to your soon about how you'd like to be with him more , or make plans to take walks, lunches , etc things that don't break the bank. Invite son and gf or if gf doesn't come just son. Start to do all you can to make effort to be with son away from this so he can make sure it's what he wants . You are his mother , you deserve to be held high

Re: Evening thread, I have missed you my pretties
I've been doing the ice packs. They were the only thing that worked this weekend. It's just hard to put an ice pack on my legs (that are the worst because of the skeeter bites) and then my hands, arms, etc.

<div>That'd be a lot of teething gel.</div><div>
</div><div>I heard misting rubbing alcohol over the skin helps the itch. I haven't tried it myself.</div><div>
</div><div>Sorry Birdie. :(</div>
Are you worried about redness or peeling from your sunburn? Because if it's redness, then I suggest one of these:

Both work really well for my rosacea.
Also, I've read a few reviews that this has worked well for men:

[QUOTE]Hi all. I'm being incredibly lazy today,<strong> I've napped off and on and listened to the rain outside.</strong> It's been a nice break from last minute wedding stress :) Birdie, I can't imagine havig itchiness all over like that. Hoping you feel better soon!

<div>It has been pretty fantastic, I must say. Though I feel like a total bum for being so lazy - I've just got nothing to do today.</div>
Birdie, I find oatmeal baths help.
Waiting to hear from FI about what he wants for dinner.Tonight is laundry night since I didn't get it sone over the weekend, and our energy plan I need to wait for off-peak, which is 8PM here.
I'm still at work. They are starting construction on the highway I take home in an hour, so I don't know how it will effect my drive. I'm hoping it won't be bad.
Eagles, I love your hair. It is so pretty.
Birdie, I am sorry to hear about your itching. I can't imagine itching everywhere like that. I get irritated enough if it is just a leg.
Birdie: For skeeter bites, rub the pulpy inside from a banana peel on the itchy parts...let the pulp stay for as long as you can...it will help with the itchiness and swelling.
I grilled chicken breasts and corn on the cob for dinner tonight....after cooking two nights in a row now, H looked at me and said "Its good and thank you...but what is the deal? You are the same person that has eaten cereal for months" I replied "I like grilling" To which he said "I need to eat year round"
hehehe
Hockey, that would probably work for my regular bites, but these two on my right leg are far beyond that. They were around 4-5" in diameter yesterday, hot to the touch and hard as a rock. Oh and I had a fever. Yay allergies!
[QUOTE]Birdie, I'm more worried about the peeling since I think the redness will really go down by tomorrow, but if it doesn't, I may have to make a trip to Sephora. Thanks!

Use a heavy duty moisturizer and gentle cleanser. If you have time, I would get Cetaphil in the tub at the grocery store. Lather that stuff on. That's my only advice for proloning the peeling. :(

I actually have that from when I did accutane! I'll try that out, thanks!
Leisel-I really love your dress.
Wish Fi would get home, but traffic is apparently horrible. Bah.
[QUOTE]So an oatmeal bath... is that like rubbing oatmeal on you in a bathtub? Hockey, that would probably work for my regular bites, but these two on my right leg are far beyond that. Birdie, I swell like that too from skeeter bites, or any kind of sting from a bee. It usually happens 2-3 days after, not right after, and it is just miserable! I had a bite on my leg just above my knee once, and then got a sunburn on it while driving. That was really painful.

This looks awesome. Now I just need to find a tub. :) My aunt took out the only tub and replaced it with a washer/dryer. We only have a stand up shower right now.
However this review? Is gross.
I suffer from obsessively picking at ingrown hairs, so I have a lot of puffiness and redness on my legs. A lot of times it looks like I have chicken pox if I'm having a bad day and can't stop picking. A friend gave me the Aveeno oatmeal bath product to try, and it definitely reduces the redness and puffiness. Picking can be stress-inducing so having a nice oatmeal bath afterward to try to calm down helps.
