  • Daff did you see my reply last night about Rize? (after you said you hadn't seen it). My was on TK mobile and didn't get to say everything I wanted to say... but basically I disagree with krumping as a SYTYCD style because I don't think that it is reasonable to try and get contestants to truly understand the dance in that short of a time frame. Its about way more than just a dance, its core comes from expressing anger and it still is kind of entrenched in this expression, not mainstreamed. In fact, krumpers are trying to keep it out of the mainstream.

I did see it - I think I said something along the lines of, I haven't seen it. And I see krumping as more posturing as opposed to dancing. But my mind could be changed.

<div>It would be hilarious if they made non-tappers do tap, hahahah. But yeah, I agree. It doesn't seem fair because no one, minus maybe a few hip hoppers, ever looks good doing it because you can't teach it in a week. </div>

  • That would be pretty funny to see.

Speaking of tappers, how much of a travesty was that last season about Nick (and Iveta)? I'm still really sore about that.
  • They just sound so foffing sanctimonious over there. Jeeze. And they wonder why people don't like Christians. Ones like them give the rest of them a bad name.

This makes me eyeroll "I believe that homosexuality is a sin, but like all sin, it can be forgiven if you ask for it and mean it." Someone, for the love of God, point to me where it says in the NEW TESTAMENT, that homosexuality is a sin. As far as I'm concerned, Jesus came to rewrite/explain God's teachings, and I don't think he talks about it at all. In my mind, the theachings in the New Testament trump those in the old because you know, Jesus actually brought the word of God to the people.

</div><div>Haha it would certainly be interesting. It DOES bother me that a ballerina/modern dancer gets reamed if she isn't great at hip hop, but if a hip hopper does just OK at contemporary, they are given a standing O. Hip Hop is just as un-intuitive for many ballerinas as contemporary is to hip hoppers. </div>

OMG, the worst thing that has ever happened on that show is that hack Sabra winning over Danny. Second worse was Alex getting hurt.

<div>IMO, They do that because in the early seasons, the hip hop dancers all went home so early.  I don't think most of the voters know the difference between good and bad so they just go by who's the cutest/strongest personality and what the judges tell them.</div><div>
