Heeeey everybody. I hope you're all having lovely evenings. I just finished 6 hours of studying (FML), and I'm about to crack my third MUCH NEEDED beer.

Ahhh yes, THAT one. I'm in South County and getting married in Laguna Beach.
Fullerton used to be my ol' stomping grounds in college.
I'm about ready to crack the bottle of wine i have in the cabinet just because I'm frustrated and done searching for something to fit inside the cabinet on the dresser to use as a shelf.

I work about 1/2 mile away from the college. Which is about 70 miles away from home. That is the worst thing about this town, everyone has to commute! But it is dirt cheap to live here.

Are you the usual 9-5? If so, how is traffic that way? Does your DH also work in OC?
I'm doing alright. Just really can't get comfortable. He dropped so when I walk I'm starting to waddle. The contractions are starting to come closer together than the past weeks but still no rhythm to them.
I leave around 5:30 and get home around 5. Traffic is terrible and I hate it. Luckily, I carpool but I still hate it. H works near the Palmdale area if you are familiar. He is only about a 30-40 minute commute and I am jealous everyday!
I can tell tonight is going to be a long night. The downstairs neighbors sound like they are walking on their ceiling and are slamming doors and dropping stuff. Plus their stereo is up loud. Luckily I'm not trying to sleep yet or I would be sending DH down there to complain.

Sorry, it was a drive-by post. I had a friend over for dinner. I basically had a bunch of canned pumpkin in the pantry I wanted to use. I used 2-3 tablespoons of pumpkin puree, 1/8 of a teaspoon pumpkin pie mix, about a teaspoon of agave nector (or to taste - you can also use honey) and 2 shots of whipped cream vodka. Put in a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes and serve in a martini glass. The first batch I added a little rum as well, but the flavor was a little sweeter and smoother without it. AND it's cheap to make at home.

I have driven through there many times. My husband went to grad school at USC in the mid-late 90s. A lot of the staff members bought houses in Victorville. That's a hell of a commute!
