FFF/LFF

I flame myself for loving FFF so much that I'm super impatient for it to start and started it myself.

Re: FFF/LFF

  • I flame 1bmw35 for planning a wedding while still married to someone and now that the divorce probably won't be done in time, will do a fake ceremony and than just do the legal paperwork stuff later. I agree about OwningAHome. How immature is someone who cannot be around others openning gifts without being mad that she now cannot imagine openning gifts in front of others?

I flame amouse for wanting to fire her bridesmaids because they are trying to get pregnant. I also flame the girl who wanted all her BMs to be unmarried so when one was getting married the month before her she wanted to get rid of her. Love to all my SB girls!

  • I usually lurk (and just went and got a new username, anyway), but I just have to say that FFF is one of my favorite threads ever. Helps me find all the awful train-wreck threads that I might have missed during the week!

    Thanks, Liatris!

I love all the comments about the honeyfunds this week.  We were not planning on doing this (for obvious reasons) but I know people who have, and I had considered actually getting friends something from their honeyfund for a gift, and now I'm SO happy that I didn't.
  • I'm flaming OwningAHome for starting the 'be nice to each other' thread when she's the one who posts on the E board all this rude stuff about not personally greeting guests and how showers are rude, but she's still having one.

LFF to Lia for my inspiration for my BMs and for being all around spot on with advice.

  • I flame my cold and my immune system for making me a baby . I haven't had one in several YEARS and it's throwing me for a loop. :( I never thought I'd have to miss work for a cold.

I flame lauwalker for asking about how to add a cash registry to her website, then flipping out when we told her it wasn't a good idea. ''Thats not what I asked!!'' Then hockeywithadiamond came in and told her to use honeyfund after she GBCK'd. I agree with the flame for 1bmw35. That divorce is not going to go through in time. And I flame her for planning an entire wedding with no intention of filing for divorce. Her husband ended up filing. I really think he's going to drag it out to make her mad. I always agree with flames about OAH. She drives me nuts. I even lost in on her in the bridal shower thread. But I flame the OP in that thread who came back and said if you want to fight, don't do it on MY thread. And finally, I flame the photographer that actually used that picture in advertising of the couple who held up a sign asking for presents.
  • I flame lizybeff for asking her FI's parents to pay for the RD and when they said it was coming out of their wedding gift, she said nevermind and asked her parents instead.

LFF to Courtania and NYCMercedes, who both lost people very close to them this week.

I'l like to flame everyone here for calling save the dates "STDs". Yesterday, when my fiance asked if he could have a save the date to give to his coworkers, I said "We need to watch who we give STDs to." And he looked horrified.

ETA: And I'm with Liatris on LFF for Knot Irene. I haven't see Jennifer around, but I saw Knot Irene chime in on some posts offering advice and I thought that was cool.

Why I it that just because she is uncomfortable with something, suddenly no one can do it?

And I hate that she always brings up how Long Island is 'different.' Basically saying that weddings there are the only proper way. Now I'm just getting nit picky, but I really can't stand her attitude.

Yay not all the flames have been taken yet! I flame Mpierce27 for stalking her friend and BM to WP, then saying such nasty things that she got herself banned. Then I flame her for creating a puppet accout TheTerminator ro tell us all to be nice to that bully, because 'she might hurt herself'. BS, I'm not letting you smear campaign your friend without saying anything because you might hold your breath or pull your hair like a 2 year old. I also flame Owningahome for turning straight up troll this week. Go away if all you are here for is to be nasty to people and never admit to your mistakes.

  • If OAH is so offended by prayer, why would she have prayer at her ceremony? You can have a completely prayer free ceremony that is still very lovely.

  • I've noticed a lot of posts this week on E where the OP comes back after being told her ideas were against etiquette and she just says "Oh! Thanks for the info, I had no idea." Lots of love for that (even if the BSC posters are more entertaining).
  • I flame jgogan1's mother in law and sister in law for this - "Then last month her and my FSIL came to visit and stuff was even more uncomfortable. His sister asked us if we wanted children and when my fiancé said we weren't sure she told me she would beat the sh$t out of me if I didn't give him children and my FMIL said she would hold me down and artificially inseminate me herself...which is insane."
