I get a FB comment from the same girl asking for her wedding invite. I've told her several times that I don't have any room left and she still keeps on. We went to church together about 6 years ago and she has a few issues (not sure exactly what is wrong with her) and so I don't want to be mean but that the same time it's getting annoying.

Any advice?

Maybe just say something like, "I'm really sorry, but we're keeping our wedding really small and only including family and a few close friends. I wish we were able to invite more people, but we just can't" and leave it at that. If she continues, there's not much else you can do but repeat yourself or ignore it.

She's not ASKING you for an invite today. She's telling you she'd like one. I'd just ignore it. That's what I did.

I would personally tell her to fuuck off already and stop being so pathetic, but thats me. You should make it so she your wall or comment on anything on your profile.

Amoro, I do care. I see her dad every day at the library and he'd definitely make a comment about it. He thinks anything that happens to his daughter is because of her disability (what he says, and I don't even know what it is), so he'd make me feel incredibly guilty.

Miss Manners says any wedding is small to those not invited. So I think Jill's answer is a good one. After that, you just have to ignore it. Unfortunately, I sense I'll be dealing with the same issue (a crazy person wanting an invite they're not going to get).

It's true, even random old church friends from the same church are invited. But I literally haven't seen her in years, so I didn't invite her. Well let me say, my parents didn't invite her. They crossed the church line, even though I didn't want to

Neckie, if you haven't seen her in years, I don't understand why she expects an invite. And I thought you lived in a small town. How haven't you seen her? Is she on the farm my friend was talking about??

I'm the lone ranger here, but I'd probably just invite her. She really wants to go and it's a small town, plus you mentioned someone being disabled. Maybe I'm a pushover, but what's one more when it obviously means this much to her? I think you'll feel good about yourself if you invite her

Or really, I'd just invite her. If EVERYONE ELSE in the town is invited and you're good enough friends with her to be facebook friends, I'd probably just suck it up. Why would you invite EVERYONE and not her? I must be missing something...
