Brad Paisley - Then is our first song, later on after dinner we'll have our second song which is Theory of a Deadman - All or Nothing. We both love country and rock and those two songs fit us well

My sisters song is Somebody by Depeche Mode. Its a great song and I would use it too but that just wouldn't be fair.
Our First Dance Song is pretty unique. It is a Compilation of 1 minute of 5 Songs “She’s Everything” Brad Paisley “Just Got Started Loving You” James Otto“Black Dress Song” Chris Young “Im Cool” Anthony Hamilton And last a very non typical song of us “Stanky Legg” Clean Version GS Boys All thos songs are special to our relationship and we share a love of ALL music the Stanky Legg is a perfect twist because we are practicing the whole routine and before neither of us knew how to do it! So it will wow all of those close to us J
Long Train Runnin' by the Doobie Brothers. I am a HUGE Music buff and my honey isnot. We do,however, both love the Doobs and that is a good song about love - without love...where would u be now?' We have been together for 6+ years and are not a super mushy couple anymore so it will be more upbeat and easy for both of us to relax enjoy and get into!
Other ideas we had were: Blue Sky - Allman Brothers The Flame - Cheap Trick When I See You Smile - Bad English That's Where it's At - Sam Cooke Ain't that Love - Ray Charles Let Your Love Flow - Bellamy Brothers Do You Remember or Angel - Jack Johnson I Can't Stop Loving You - Bryan Adams That's How Strong My Love iS - Otis Redding I Do - Jewel You are the Best thing - Ray LaMontagne More today than Yesterday or Isn't She Lovely (real popular) - Stevie Wonder amazed - Lone Star
I love music and have scoured my library, my dads and picked my friends brain. It is super hard to pick a 1st song - unless you really don't care. Good luck and hope you find something that fits and works for both of you!
I'm a bit non-trad. My father/daughter song is gona be 'Twistin the Night Away' by Sam Cooke. One of my dad's faves...who says it has to be slow and mushy? I say do something fun and enjoyable. I am doing a mix and hoping to get everyone on the dance floor with us! Happy hunting!
"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because your reality is finally better than your dreams" -Dr. Seuss
"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go..." - Dr. Suess
Re: What is your first dance?
We will be taking dance lessons to make sure we stay on beat!
Another good idea is: "Crazy Love" by Michael Buble
My fiance LOVES Richie Valens and I've always loved this song

Good Morning Beautiful by Steve Holy
This song has significant meaning to us and cant wait to dance to it
"safe and sound" by Hawksley Workman
or something else. This is really the hardest decision to make!
The first night we said "I love you" we listend to it over and over again, silentlly holding eachother.
The Luckiest- Ben Folds
It was between that and Forever- Ben Harper so we did a dance off, whichever song made me cry we'd use lol
Now and forever by Richard Marx
