can someone please talk me out of buying these:

i already bought shoes for my dress (PIB). and i do love them. but for some reason, not sold on them. they make a flip flop noise, and i thought they would be more pinky than they are..but they're more coral. and i fear that they will look more random than fun bc none of our colors are pink/coral/whatever. i fell in love with another pair of shoes from paris hilton. but these...these...i am drooling...i would marry these shoes if the state would allow it! http://www.heels.com/womens-shoes/spelled-turquoise.html

    i'm losing willpower...at a beyond rapid rate...and i am in the rationalizing the purchase phase...."i haven't really splurged on anything yet"..."they are more me"......"they are blue, which matches our colors closer than the coral"......"coral? who wears coral shoes? nobody".......... *runs to steve madden's site to see if i can squash the urge to click the "add to cart" button..

    they are..... but to continue rationalizing....i already spent $70 on the pair i have now...this is only $30 more, and the receptionist at work said she might buy the pair i have from me, or her daughter.... .....must...gain..control...

    I spent $150 on my shoes, so $95 isn't too much to me, BUT you do already have shoes. If you can see the ones that you have now, I say go for it! Wedding planning - especially the attire portion - isn't always rational. :P

    Those are uber cute! I love love love them! I hate when I try to rationalize my purchases too. Just think, you can wear them again. Sorry, I'm no help whatsoever!

    Just think, you can wear them again.Nanner, this made me laugh.  Where would you wear those again, aside from maybe another wedding?  Haha...it isn't like JBean could wear them to work!

    I love them!  Get that lady to buy your other shoes then buy these!  I'm def not the best person to ask or take advice from when it comes to shoes.  I think shoes are incredibly important even though I know they shouldn't be.  I can't help it... I have a very unhealthy love for shoes.

    My gosh those are adorable.I am the worst person to ask I can justify any shoe purchase. Especially if someone is already offering to purchase the coral shoes. I mean which pair would you wear more often post the big day? ;-) good luck

    i also have an unhealthy love for shoes. my mom always jokes that i buy outfits to match my shoes, bc i buy the shoes first, rather than the outfit. i thought the first pair of shoes was more me, but now that i've seen these....whoa. i actually contemplated buying them in black just so that i could wear them again. but i don't know about wearing black shoes with my dress! the height doesn't bother me-i've always worn super high heels (and find them more comfortable actually, don't know why). i was always the girl at banana republic that customers would stare at, and when they would finally open their mouth they would say "don't your feet hurt??" and i would shake my head no. go figure.

    you know I'm always looking for an excuse to buy a pair of bright colored shoes.  I can't rationalize it unless its for a super special occasion.   Then I'm always jealous of girls that have a pair of bright funky colored shoes to match their funky colored outfit.... while I only have tan, black, and brown shoes.

    let's face it-i'm not going to wear either pair after the wedding! i would attempt to sell them, or see if one of my many friends/brides to be fit in to them! or i would just stare at the 2nd pair lovingly for the rest of my life..waiting for another chance to wear them....i might sleep with them on....just because..

    Jen...buy them!  I have an absolute love for shoes too and you can always find something to wear with them..black dress, red dress, etc.. the possibilities are endless... Sorry, I am no help...but I will not hold you back from you purchase!  Have you tried zappos, price comparison through another shoe company?

    haha nannerbelli!! i would make it a point to show off my shoes the entire day/night. i would see about having a special introduction done just for the shoes! i would wear them for my b-pics. to the wedding. i would prob buy dresses just to match the shoes so that i could wear them again. vanessa-i'm with you! i always wish i knew how to put fun color shoes on with my outfits. all i own are black shoes, flat & heeled. i'm so jealous of those that have mastered the art of mixing up their shoes! i don't even own a brown pair of shoes!! yet i still have an unhealthy love for shoes. i just don't have a need to buy anything other than work shoes much anymore, and that makes me sad.

    I am the cheapest woman alive, but yeah, I love those shoes.You only live once! Get your FI to buy them for you! Mine thinks if he buys me heels, I will wear them around the house with a short skirt on as though this is a strip joint! :)

    zappo's is the same, and macy's usually puts her shoes on for 99.99. heels.com will ship 2nd day for free. i think it's something i might need to do. i don't love the shoes i have as much as i love these. i put the box in a drawer and forgot about them. i think the color of them disappointed me the most. they're super cute, but i don't like that they are more coral than pink, and am afraid that they'll just look totally out of place in a wedding with no pink/coral anywhere....
