Why did I accept my mom's friend request on FB??

What was I thinking? She then added a bunch of my friends to her friend list, some include my long time friends she knew since they were kids and my SIL's. This was not a problem, until her and her BF broke up. Now she is putting all kinds of weird crap in her status, and posting links to all these sad love song videos. She posted a link to the video "love hurts" then make a comment.."yeah, love does hurt, but was it really ever love?" Oh god, make her stop.

    I have gone in and specifically blocked my IL's from seeing my FB.

    I adore my mom and am very close with her.  She'll never be on FB with me in a zillion years.

    That's hilarious. Fallin - if your mom joined FB and sent you a friend request, what would you do? After my brother's baby was born my mom was demanding photos and he got her set up on FB so she would get to see them all.  Thanks a lot bro!  Luckily she hates technology and doesn't use it much.

    Ignore her. If she asked I'd tell her that FB is for friends not family. She'd be good.  My moms is good with boundaries.

    Oh, my mom seems to think it's a great thing. It's like she thinks she HAS to update her status. The people are making comments like, Is everything okay? Before this, she only got on to look at pics and keep in touch with family living out of province. Her ex is also on facebook. When they broke up he changed his relationship status to single. And mom put under it that she liked it, you know with the little thumbs up hand, and he commented viseversa. Oh my, it's like junior high. But, then he un-friended her. She was super pissed.

    When my mom joined I put her on limited access and she got all mad because she couldn't see as much as my sister. Le sigh.
