    It was but I survived.  We do not have a relationship and MIL kind of told me we never will this past Christmas:  You know, Julie, we could have been friends.  It's okay though.  I have enough friends.

    I don't understand why people have to be so hateful!!! Even if you don't particularly like someone... it's ok to be pleasant and 'manage' your dislike. It's not being fake, I honestly think it's' being mature and being an adult. I'm so sorry. :(
