Marriage License

Is the law changing this year as to being able to get your marriage license in the town you are getting married in OR the town you live in?  I heard something about it today, but the town hall didn't mention it when i called.

    yup thats what cromwell told us on wed when we got our license any weddings being performed after Oct 1 you HAVE to get the license in the town where you are getting married you can no longer get it in the town you live in

    I know with churches, at least catholic ones, they want it in the town where they are. I definitely heard the rumor that the law was changing tho. I actually just got mine today in Branford! :)
