DJ Reccomendations

So I had my heart set on a DJ from my hometown but he is booked. I really liked him because he gets everyone involved and plays a variety of music.  So who do you reccomend?

    I booked Tony Frambes from DJ Butlers, he was the DJ at my sisters wedding in 2003 and he was really good.

    DJ Toad - I am actually using DJ Phil who works with DJ Toad! I recommend both!!

    I am also working with DJ Toad, but we chose the Junior Package, which is half the price and you don't get Toad on the wedding day, you get one of his associates.DJ Toad was recommended to me before I really got into planning and outside of the boards. From what I can tell he is very well respected.

    I am using JD Hughes... he is so nice and awesome to work with so far. He considers himself more of an MC than a DJ bc he thinks playing the music is the easy part. He has a great personality and has a lot of really cool/different ideas for the reception to keep everyone involved and having fun.

    Nemar Maize, the owner of Maize Music. He dj's at Veils and Coctails every year. He also did my friend's wedding and, even though we didn't think it would be a dancing crowd, he managed to get just about everyone on the dance floor. http://www.maize-music.com/

    If you use Nemar Maize be careful how you pay him.  When I went in to meet with him, he was a little late and while I was sitting there waiting for him, I noticed 3 personal checks lying on his desk in full view.  That was enough unprofessionalism for me to walk out w/o ever even talking to him!
