So, a manager here at work got engaged at the beginning of June and her wedding is on Saturday (yes, 2 months). Since we work in an environment of psuedo-event planning, she's had a lot of help from a few of us in the office and has done a great job throwing together a 250+ guest outdoor event (ceremony followed by lobsterbake in Maine). The bride's last day was Friday and one of the her close friends and another manager stopped by yesterday to show me the programs that she is making for the bride. They are a cute, tall cardstock with two pieces of vellum attached with a simple ribbon at the top (so it's stacked-vellum, cardstock, vellum) and the text is on the vellum. On the front, the text includes the order of the ceremony, including readings and music. On the back, the text includes the wedding party (oh yeah, 9 BMs--remember two month engagement!). But no where on the program are the Bride and Groom's names or the date.So the question is: does it seem odd to anyone else to not have their names? I mentioned it to the friend who's making them and she said "I'm not telling her! She printed them, I just told her I'd put them together!"
