He also won't give me the jeweler's info. I would just call but it's "his responsibility". I am about ready to divorce him and we're not even married yet (kidding, of course, but pissed).

I have another WTF, I'm ready to strangle FI if he doesn't finish handing in his invitatios this week!!!! It's been THREE WEEKS guys!!! They're all his friends and 2 family members I'm never in contact with. I already finished delivering all of mine AND only I had OOTGs!!! All of his are local! In fact I also had to deliver half of his invites because he just won't get stuff done!! He's driving me crazy!! I've been nagging him everyday about it to the point we're both sick of hearing me. Oh if only I would have pulled a forgetful stunt like this for weeks...it would have been the end of the world for him. Ugh I'm so pissed. Thankfully RSVP dates don't mean a thing here but it's still extremely embarassing to deliver an invite PAST the RSVP date because your FI keeps "forgetting". His ultimatum is this week. I don't know what will happen if he doesn't finish.

B2B that would drive me insane....BTW How'd your hair turn out yesterday?!?!

Nati - It's a guy thing I think. Put it off till we do it for them. FI still hasn't finished his BM speech for this wedding we're going to on Saturday. Like only has ideas and nothing written down. I'm nervous he's going to wing it or be up there with flash cards.

HA! Nati, yeah. I know it's a guy thing, but seriously, he has like 3 tasks - buy the groomsmen's gifts, set up the limo for us for after reception, and acquire my wedding band. None of these have been done. We've been engaged for 13 months. Not sure why we're dealing with this 2 weeks before the wedding.

Hair was AWESOME! Not stripey at all and not blonde. I sometimes worry that they think highlights = blonde, but with this guy, he totally listened to me and my hair is just lighter, very natural looking, and goldish/caramel highlights. I am totally going back to him next time!

K888-Butterfly, We are in the same boat.

We had professionals do the main area of our house (our ceilings are too high for amateaurs). and FMIL is painting everything else. and driving me slightly crazy because she wont let me help, and i just feel in the way if i am over there anyway. And she keeps adding crap. Like painting the cabinets. And professional carpet cleaning. and new light fixtures. Its not your house. let me make a decision w/o feeling like you will judge me if its wrong. thanks.

My other WTF is FFIL. Last week, we reminded him we were planning to use his monetary commitment of 2K for the RD and bar tab. He flips out and starts getting stuff together, which i definitely appreciate him taking care of, dont get me wrong. But then acts like we surprised him with this. We told him A YEAR AND A HALF AGO that this was our plan. AFTER he had commited to the 2K number.

So he goes and asks FMIL (theyre divorced) to help him pay for his part. Even though combined, the RD and bar will be significantly less then 2.

UM what? Then why did you and your new wife take all those vacations and redo your whole patio and buy your stepdaughter a horse? Really? We had planned to just have FMIL help with our house, and if we ran stuck with the budget, we would ask her and new husband for help.

That got long. sorry. Summary: FMIL is taking over our new house, and FFIL doesnt listen or manage his money well.

Ugh I totally sympathize with you ladies about the FIs waiting until the last minute for everything! FI is just deciding now if he wants to order yamacas (sp.) for the ceremony. I sent him a bunch of websites in the fall to look at for ordering them, but he probably never even checked! He also really wants to take a dance lesson, and I told him he needs to call ASAP b/c we only have 10 days until the wedding.

i have another WTF.... has anyone else noticed that every weather site has different forecasts??? I know I shouldn't even be checking at this point, but I have looked at 3 different weather sites and they all have completely different predictions.

My WTF...I have a couple of them....

#1I forgot to mention this last week...I had my FIRST bridezilla moment...I've been pissed at the place where we got the BM dresses from & where the guys are renting their tuxes....the dresses were over a month late getting in...and the tux place charged out BM for getting fitted, etc. when my mom paid for everything so he didn't have to worry about paying for anything (he doesn't have a lot of $$ and his wife is sick...so those are the main reasons why he was being so flakey about being in the wedding...) I called the dress place and told her that BM was charged when he shouldn't have been..my mom paid for everything and he doesn't have a lot of money..she is like I see the notes here and oh honey, I am so sorry...YA YA...so he'll just get the $$ back when he picks up his tux...

#2 is do not make friends at work..you can't trust anyone....I can't go into detail because she knows my sn on here and I'm sure she looks to see what I say on here...but I don't trust her or respect her anymore...friendship over...I was her MOH in March...and she thinks I'm out to get her job...I am not...promise!

After meeting with our month-of wedding planner on Monday night, I feel so stressed and overwhelmed with so much to do before the wedding! Also FSIL gave me a half-assed apology, but I'm willing to look the other way about it just to not have drama 3 weeks before my wedding at this point. I also have to drop my ring off to have one of the small diamonds replaced since one fell out last week.

Butterfly - Don't be embarassed about your your pole pics, I'm sure they are hot!!! We want to seeeee! I have pole pics too!

that is exactly what all the girls told me hahahahah. pole dancing is such a random skill that strangely came naturally to me!! all my girls kept stuffing dollar bills in the garter that they made me wear, that's what is on my leg!

I've always had a strange fasciniation with stripper poles. I was on the pole at the club we were at for 30 minutes just dancing and twirling on it :-) I was so sore and had bruises on my thighs from it!

thanks honeybear! you should take a class, it's so much fun!! we had a private class and rented out the pole studio as part of my bachelorette party, it was totally perfect!

and i have no idea what the badges mean - mine seems to change from bronze to silver fairly often!

lvissers I totally understand - I still have a massive bruise on my ankle and am not sure how strippers do it all the time! it's hard work, you have to be so strong!!
