As ive mentioned before, I have lost a fair bit of weight since last summer. A lot of my summer clothes from last year are now loose on me, and ones that were too small fit me now.
I have 4 pairs of shorts in question, two have probably an excess of 3" around the waist and I can pull them on and off without undoing them, and the other two fit in a really weird way and make me look like a have a gunt (sorry).
I showed my husband today, and asked if I should just chuck them (give to charity) or not? His response was that I need to stop looking for reasons to throw out my clothes so that I can go shopping and they look fine, and I just need a belt. While I can see his point, kind of, I dont want droopy baggy butt all summer. I would rather NOT look like crap in my clothes if I can avoid it, but he is insisting I keep them.
So my question, how big is too big? If you could pull your pants on and off like a pair of sweats without them having an elastic waist band, would you still wear them? Is he right, should I just suck it up?
