    I also suggest contacting the dress designer.  They probably don't want to be doing business with this store and might just send you a free dress to fix it.

    Honestly I'd also contact the dress manufacturer so they know what's going on and hopefully stop all connections with that shop.^This.

    Contacting dress designer tomorrow, and returning to dress shop on Tuesday. I will let you guys know the outcome! Thanks times a million.

    I hope everything works out.  If not, are there any online retailers that sell it, like netbride or pearl's place?  Any other stores in a nearby state that you could order from over the phone?  I also wouldn't want to be giving this crooked shop any more of my business.

    Ditto contacting the dress designer.  What the shop did is NOT reputable.I'd also make sure that you have the laws at an easy reach and I'd file a complaint with the BBB.  At this point do you have any desire to continue to do business with them?
