    The only way I know how to find the guide is in Button's siggy!

    And, intro posts are also really awkward and weird to write. I don't love them, but I think the questions help some people say SOMETHING.

    My 'trip' was 20 minutes away from home.  However, my role at the conference required that I be right there from early in the morning until bedtime. 

    I LOVED IT.  However, I love this conference every year.  It is always intellectually stimulating and I leave feeling on top of the world.  It was great to see all of my friends from down South.  Plus I made lots of contacts up here.  I cannot wait until next year.  It is in Palm Springs.

    It's true, she didn't. She copy/pasted a lot of that from several MUCH shorter posts that other people made.

    I can accept that.

    But while I'm scraping the sand out of my vagina I'd like to point out that grouping "us" into one entity isn't the best  strategy as it gets pretty bipolar around here.

    They're contributing about half. Even if they weren't, I still wouldn't want to do anything that would give her a stroke.

    off topic - FI's friend got married this weekend. His mom had a stroke at the rehearsal. Word is she'd hated the girl for years and she couldn't handle it. Sad :(

    I think I just let out the most nervous laugh possible.

    That's pretty terrible though. Was she well enough to attend the ceremony the next day or no?

    Missing a parent  at my wedding is a nightmare of mine.
