Brie- Im in the same boat. What helped me is taking classes. I took a class to learn to sew better, an Italian class, and I spend a lot of time at Barnes and Noble reading:) Its hard because we arent in one city consistently. I found it helps to just get out of the house. I'm dreading the winter though. I miss working, and being near my good friends. hang in there!

I confess I despise the Cash for Clunkers program. I hate that I work in insurance and have to drop everything so I can prove to your car dealer that you have been insured for a year. I also hate that your "clunker" is nicer then my current vehicle.

Sarah - FI's middle name is D.L. It stands for Dale Lloyd. I never understood why his middle names couldn't just be Dale and Lloyd. Though, I'm glad Lloyd isn't attached to his name. I don't enjoy it.

Mandy - ewww...you definitely win. On another note - this is the first time I recall you talking about even having a brother. We're going to Winnipeg, AGAIN, to go to ACDC this weekend. I'm not in the least bit excited anymore. 51,000 people in one place scares me. I want to take a leash and attach myself to Mark so I don't get lost. I hate crowds.

Considering everyone makes fun of Kentucky for marrying their cousins, its actually illegal to marry your first cousin or your first cousin removed (child of a first cousin). However there are now laws in any of the states against marrying your second cousin. I thought that was interesting. Gross, but interesting.

I can't stop eating the box of Jujubes that is on my desk. They get stuck in my teeth and I have to pick out the goo, but I still continue to eat them. Oh well, at least they'll be gone soon.

I confess that I still hold a huge grudge against my brother and sil for not even giving me a card for our wedding. I don't want money or a gift, but not even a card. and it's been over a year, and he is my only brother. it still hurts my feelings.

Sarah, what if the child is not given a middle name at all? If parents give their child just a letter, they can say it's whatever. I don't see the big deal. It may be better than something crazy. Sorry, didn't mean to post and run. No middle name, no big deal. But if you give your child a middle letter rather than a middle name because you can't decide how you want to spell it, that's just wierd in my book.

It's a rainy day, so Mark brought me breakfast from McDonald's this morning. He brought me a breakfast bagel??!!?!?! WTF Mark. You know the ONLY thing I like from McD's breakfast is pancakes, and hashbrowns. It was a nice gesture, but I secretly wanted to punch him.

Brie - I have been hanging out on the slower Boston board more just because I literally don't have the time to wade through the P&E stuff as much any more as we were moving, buying a new car and job stuff. But that leads me to second mayas confession of over- agressiveness of P&E. Snark and brutal honesty are entertaining. Flat out biitchyness gets boring. You can almost memorize what people are going to say and then how other newer posters are just going to echo it later in similar threads.

Brie - I understand completely. I too have had some of your same struggles. From experience, I know that hearing people tell you things will get better and it will "just take time," doesn't necessarilly make it better, but you are resilient and will overcome.I'm sending you hugs and believe it or not you crossed my mind the other day, I was thinking about your 2 year quest for a job. Swift - I have 2 brothers, and I can almost guarantee that my oldest brother won't get us a card either. He just isn't the giving-type. But I learned that a long time ago, so I won't be upset about it. Some guys just aren't into that kind of stuff.
