I'm really pumped today is Wednesday! We had a late start to the week (we were up in MI doing WR stuff/golfing on Monday still) so today feels like Tuesday.

I'm getting married 1 month from today.

I am fucking exhausted from all this drama and I just want to sleep, but I have great kids today, so it shouldn't be too bad. I can pep it up for them. After work I'll probably be tutoring and then finally home.

I'm on the bike getting my morning workout in, then I have my specialist appointment, then I have to suffer through work until I can go pick up my tomatoes!!! I feel like I've been waiting forever for this day. Best part is I get to meet the woman who runs the farm and I sorta idolize her, she's amazing. I'm so excited!

Morning. It's going to be a crappy day and night so I will just be here feeling sorry for myself. I'm really, really hoping I don't need a root canal but at the very least, I'm still being tortured at the dentist later.

Morning. I am so exhausted from all the effing drama in my life lately that I just want to curl up and sleep for a week. My idiot BIL and SIL have their heads stuck up their asses and have decided that they're mad at H and I for some reason, and they haven't spoken to us in months. They won't speak to us to tell us what the problem is, so we're pretty confused. Our niece's birthday was on Saturday, and we weren't invited or told about the party, but happened to find out through MIL/FIL (who were attending) that there was a party. We sent gifts with MIL for our niece and nephew (whose birthday is later this month) and BIL and SIL refused the gifts and sent them home with MIL, saying that if we were a good aunt and uncle we'd come and drop gifts off in person. I fucking despise those two right now.

And my kitty is in the hospital, which is breaking my heart.

OTHERWISE - life is good.

This week is going by fairly quickly but I still wish tomorrow evening would hurry up and get here. I am pretty sure I am taking Friday off too, so this is like my Thursday.

Sept, I hope your kitty is ok. And your BIL/SIL sound ridiculous. In response to the "good aunt and uncle" comment, I'd be really, really tempted to say "if you were good parents, you would let your kids spend time with their aunt and uncle by inviting us to the birthday party". I wouldn't actually say that, but I'd think it.

Sept, that sounds like my step-brother. He was mad at my stepdad for the longest time and refused to come over, but God forbid he actually tell anyone what was wrong. It finally all came out and was completely stupid. People aren't mind readers.

Morning ladies. I'm super tired this morning. Not sure if it's because I slept like garbage, or because of the weather (stormy), but yeah, I'm very tired. We couldn't bring the dogs back to their owner last night because it was storming so bad when H got home, so we decided to keep them overnight. Because of the bad weather (thunder & lightning) the dogs were scared and whining all night, which kept me up. H returned them this morning, so I can't wait to get home and scour the house top to bottom to get rid of the dog hair and smell.

I did get some pretty good news this morning: a photographer friend of mine wants to work with me next month before I move to VA. The concept we discussed is somewhat based on Taylor Momsen's editorial for Revolver magazine, very "I Am Legend" meets "Mad Max". I have everything I need for it (wardrobe, makeup, guns, etc), we just need to nail down a location and time. So excited!!

Wanna know something that pisses me off about pinterest? I just repinned "French Onion Soup Crostini", but the person I repinned it from had it tagged as "Scrumptiously awesome French Onion Soup Crostini. #food #French #onion #soup #crostini #appetizers #party" so I had to edit all of that garbage out. Is all of that necessary? 7 hash tags and a bunch of adjectives (adverbs?! i dunno). So annoying.

Hi guys!

My mom left yesterday and we were on the go, go, go this weekend so I'm looking forward to grocery shopping and relaxing. She was able to go with me to the doctor yesterday and got to hear the heartbeat so that was nice!

Somehow, though, I jacked up my leg. My right side thigh hurts everytime I take a step. I think I pulled a muscle but I've never pulled one that hurts this bad. I'm bummed because I wanted to go for a fast walk this morning.

Sept- That sucks about your BIL and SIL. They are punishing the kids for whatever their issues are.

I'm glad you guys are seeing it with the same WTF goggles I am. They're so stupid. When BIL made that comment on the weekend, FIL responded with "I'm not sure how they were supposed to bring the gifts in person, seeing as how you neither invited them nor told them where the party was. Grow up."

I really love FIL.

Hike-is it possible that you have some sciatica? I'm a mom of 3 and I never had it, but from what I understand, it feels like what you're describing. I hope you don't because it tends to last for a while. Congratulations on the baby, by the way, hope you're feeling terrific!

This morning I have my dental cleaning which I hate. I'm 36 years old and still have a completely irrational fear of the dentist and have to talk myself out of the car every time I go. To make matters worse, my dentist retired so I'm going to a new office today, so I have to break in the receptionists, hygenist, and the doctor. Ugh. I'm such a baby.

Later I have to get my head out of my rear and make a decision about my job. I have another job offer on the table that is significantly more money among other benefits, but I'm fiercely loyal and will have a hard time leaving my current job.

Morning! Nebb -good luck today! Im excited for you. Im meeting a friend I haven't seen in a while for lunch today. Im excited to see her house (they have done a lot if work) and she is about 20 weeks pregnant! Its still raining here but if it clears up om going to buy my garden plants. Yesterdays weather prevented it. We put a swing set up yesterday and it looks great!

Good luck today Nebb! And holy crap you win Knottie of the Year award for being able to knot WHILE working out. I'd fall off the bike if I tried.

This week is draaaaggging by for me. I think it's making up for the past two weeks speeding by so quickly. I am uber cranky and I have no clue why, but add me to the list of those who want to curl up and stay in bed. I halfway considered taking a mental health day today because I still have one vacation day left, but I'm saving it in case I have any job interviews that come up during a school day.

Morning.

The weather here today is craptastic. Humid as hell and rainy. (The humidity has gone down a bit since 6am) I have a busy morning ahead full of finishing up experiments. I got word back from the doc and my ultrasound came back normal. This is good BUT that doesn't explain any of my issues. She suggested going on Prilosec to rule out reflux. Great... I have maybe 1-2 symptoms of reflux and 20 of lower GI issues. I'm going to suck it up for a week but I want a damn referral at this point.

Lol chels, I was on my phone. I usually chat with friends on my phone when I work out cause I can go fast and pass the time without realizing it. Sadly, I think some people realize I only message them when I work out lol I left the house too early and I'm nearly an hour early for my appointment. I always over estimate how long it will take me to get places.

Hike, all we can think of is because we didn't go to BIL's birthday party last year. Seriously. It was over a long weekend, and H and I had made plans early in the week to go up to the cottage on the weekend with my mom and his parents. We were having a BBQ, going out for the day on the boat, etc. On the Thursday night, BIL called us to say he was having a birthday party on the Saturday (two weekends before his actual birthday). Well, we already had set plans and had bought a bunch of stuff for the BBQ, so we declined it and said that we were sorry, but that a little more notice before a long weekend would have enabled us to come. He was upset at us that day, and hasn't spoken to us since. MIL and FIL even called and said that he, SIL and kids should come to the cottage and have a huge lake cookout with us to celebrate his birthday and he was snotty to them too.

But seriously, if you're going to pitch a fit that we didn't come to your 37th birthday on one night's notice, then you have bigger problems.

And Nebb, when I first read your post, I thought you meant biking on an actual bike, not a stationary bike. I was picturing you trying to pedal/balance/not run into things while knotting from your phone. Now THAT would be impressive, although not very smart, haha.

lbarr, I don't know the extent of your problems, but prilosec has helped me immensely (oddly enough, Whisky is also on it). I have gastritis issues that result in a burning feeling in my stomach, nausea, diziness, sometimes vomitting, upset stomach, etc. Luckily I haven't thrown up blood because that would freak me the hell out.

For me, it really acts up if I eat pizza (which sucks). So certain foods are definitely triggers.

Oh awesome. I just checked in and they were going through the notes given by my doctor and they can't even read it

heaven forbid my doctor write something legible. He probably wrote "fat, is delusional, needs to start watching what she eats". Man I hate that guy. Apparently yesterday our contractor showed up and had an absess so my mom told him to check out the walk in clinic in the plaza across the street. He was in/out in less than 20mins and said the doctor was really good. I think I will go there from now on.
