Hey hey. I know it's kinda early for an evening post but I'm bored. H still hasn't gotten home from a few days ago. I think the pups really miss him because everytime they near a noise in the garage, they jump up and run to the door. Haha. I must not be exciting for them anymore. I'm also really pissed off because I went grocery shopping on base this afternoon. I bought two packs of chicken and a huge pack of pork chops and the bagger never put them in my cart. I didn't realize when I was unpacking but when I went to go cook dinner, I got nothing. I'm pissed because we have to tip the baggers so I gave a $5 tip because it was a huge trip and now I have no meat. Ugh. How was everyone's Friday? What are your weekend plans?
Re: Anyone around?
I am still at work. I am trying to get out of here early. FI is putting his car in a car show this weekend at Knotts Berry Farm. We are staying a couple nights by the park. It is sort a mini staycation. I haven't been to the amusement park in years so it is going to be great.
Is that pretty normal, baggers being tipped on the base? I've never heard of that before. My dad's FI shops at the commissary (sp?). I wonder if she has to tip.
I'm just hanging around, watching TV. H is working late tonight so I'm not motivated to do much.
I'm here for a bit. I'm doing some grading and waiting for a meeting to start at 3:30.
So, I was going to say that it sucked losing your meat, but it didn't sound right :P
How is your pregnancy treating you (congrats, BTW!)

[QUOTE]H and I are waiting on a pizza to be delivered. On the agenda for tonight is being a couch potato. Hike, I'd call the store tomorrow and let them know you realized they forgot to give you one of your bags and ask for either a refund for the meat or them to give you new packages of meat.

I'm going to. I am taking partial blame because after I put all my bags in the car, I saw a lady who worked there walking around the parking lot with a bag of food, talking to people packing their cars. I didn't even think twice and drove away. It didn't even hit me until after I realized I didn't put anything in the fridge.
[QUOTE]Dodgers- That sounds like fun. Do they have good roller coasters?

They have a couple good ones. Not super crazy ones though. I like those.

Me too. Although I have noticed I'm way more scared now that I'm older.

I'm totally more afraid of rides now then I was even just a few years ago. And, yes, that fucking log flume thing is terrifying. YOU CAN FALL OUT, FFS. When we went to the water park by N's hometown, I was about to pass out on some of the rides. Loosely flying through the air does not appeal to me.

Possibly TMI: So, my half marathon was just under two months ago, and I lost a toenail on the second toe on my right foot about 3 weeks ago due to a severe blister I got on that toe. I also had a black toenail on the second to last toe on my right foot, and finally lost the nail on that toe this afternoon. I hate my feet right now.

[QUOTE]Evening ladies. I've been watching the Deadliest Catch marathon on Discovery Channel for the past, oh, 7 hours or so. I've been cleaning the house on commercial breaks, though. Not sure what I want for dinner yet. I had to have an ingrown removed 3 times before they finally killed the root. I got a messed up pedicure at a place someone recommend to me. I had been getting pedicures since I was like 10 and never had an issue until then. Since I am diabetic they are really on me about my feet. It was so bad after every surgery and during.
[QUOTE]I have this weird thing where I have no issue with ride at amusement parks the super crazy one and all but I won't go on any crazy ones at a carnival. Something about only being bolted to the grass and not being bolted to concrete like at an amusement park.

Carnivals freak me out because they move from place to place. That and I saw that cheesy B movie Funhouse and the classic Freaks as a kid and now I think all carnivals are murder machines.
I got my UD primer in today (finally) and these SUPER hot black suede heels with pink platforms. They're gorgeous and comfortable.

YAY for new shoes and makeup. I am trying not to spend so much lately and I haven't bought anything. I didn't get the Cole Haan's either. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-frown.gif" border="0" alt="Frown" title="Frown" />
Adorable puppy is back at the guy next door to us. His name is Finn and he's a Chihuahua/Beagle mix. He is to die for.
dodgers, I'm trying not to spend either, but it's not working. I am returning one pair of shoes and a necklace, though.

We are finally setting a date so all extra $$$ should go towards the wedding.

Yeah, it's a very common runner ailment. Ultra-marathoners have even gone so far as to have their toenials removed permanently. They don't hurt, even the black toenails. The one on my left foot had a tiny little nail growing back in underneath it (which I painted, lol), but the one on my right foot just has a very thin, sad excuse of nail now. Neither hurt when they popped off, though, thank goodness.
