I would like to someday watch the miniseries version of The Shining with Stephen Weber. Apparently that is more faithful to the book. It seems like that is one of the King miniseries that never re-airs. I see that freaking Langoliers on every other weekend.

I liked Kubrick's version too. I never read the book, but I should.

I feel we might have the potential to love eachother, I didnt know you liked the king? Ive never EVER seen the langoliers on tv, but I love the story. The miniseries of the shining scared the everliving christ out of me.

Nates- thank you for laughing because I felt lame that the best thing I could come up with was a toilet seat. I have no imagination, sad I know.

As long as it has significance to you then that's what matters. This tattoo means something to me and I have planned it out for a long time. I see people my age that get a butterfly on their collar bone the size of a dime and they just got it to get a tattoo. Um no, they will hate it in 5yrs I bet.

I loved the book, but I loved Kubrick's version, as well. I like when a film maintains the plot, but feels new at the same time.

Stephen King is freaking amazing. I don't think I've read / seen anything of his that I didn't love. Except IT. But that's another story..

nates, that's why H doesn't want me to get it. I have 2 and he thinks that by getting a third I won't be able to stop and will keep on getting more and more. He loves the ones I have, but hates sleeves and basically being covered in them. I don't want a sleeve, I want Sasa on my foot. Deal with it.

The only other tattoo I would ever get is HH on my hand. It's symbolic of my first book, but I would only get it if I was a full-time author and didn't have to get a "real" job where I would have to cover it up.

I was with Kyle when he got his first tattoo, he got a eagle on his back. When I say "bird dance" he will turn around and flap his arms which makes the wings move hahaha. Good times.

Oh man.. I think I saw the first one on my grandfather's bookcase when I was like, 10, and wanting to know what it was. My parents censored me, and then realized, I was going to read it anyway... I was very precocious.

Other authors I can read in small installments, but not King. I either get hooked right away or not at all, but if I do, I need a solid period of nothing going on and just reading time. I will literally read for 15 hours straight. FI makes fun of me.

And, FI and I have "matching" tattoo's. We're both Scorpio's, so we each got the Scorpio contellation on our wrist. His has the greek symbols for the stars, and mine has the actual Scorpio symbol.

Our wedding will be 10 days after my birthday--let the present season begin! Birthday, anniversary, Christmas, V-day. Granted, we probably won't even exchange gifts for all of those, but the thought of it makes me excited!

Our dating / becoming engaged anniversary is in September, and then Halloween is our favorite holiday, and then birthday's in November, and Christmas.. So I wanted to get married sometime in there, because it would be a really amazing, fun-filled 4 months..
