Creepy- prom garters

I went to a girls' Catholic high school. We weren't even allowed to wear backless dresses, let alone something like that up there. And we would never have had garters as favors.If my father saw me dressing like that -- NOW -- he'd probably have a heart attack. I can't imagine what he would have done if I decided to wear a garter with my prom dress. I shudder to think.

Could she hike that dress up higher on her leg?My dress had slit, but it went to just above my kneecap, and the garter was just above that, you could probably see it while I was walking. I wasn't about to have it any higher than that.

Yeah, that's more acceptable, we did pics like that too.I can't get over the ill-fitting boobs. Doesn't she have anyone to tell her that her boobs are just too big for that top? Where is P&E for prom girls?

I don't really get short prom dresses, personally. In my mind, short dresses are fine for other dances, but prom is a long gown.Of course, I went to a mostly Mormon high school. I don't think they knew what garters were, and they probably would have been horrified to find out.

Mocha - Oh, there are plenty of decent teenagers and that girl may very well be one of them. If she is, her dress choice is very misleading!

I don't like the idea of shorter prom dresses, either. There's something lovely and princess-like about a long gown, and that's exactly what prom IS for teenage girls.I didn't wear a garter to any of my proms and didn't have any friends who did.
