  I'm a bit biased since my dad and I danced to I Loved Her First and I don't really know the Faith Hill song, so you can guess what I voted for.  However, I really love the Heartland song - I didn't know it before searching for a Father/Daugher dance song  - it just really fit for us and now it's a favorite.

  I have loved country music for years and the first time I heard "I Loved Her First" I knew I would dance with my father to that song at my wedding.
  
  Unfortunately, my older sister (who never liked country music before her now husband) picked that song and ruined it for me.
  
  Enjoy it for those of us that wished they could!!

  Thanks to everyone who voted/shared their opinion.....I decided to go with "There You'll Be" by Faith Hill, I just love that song. and  I played for my Dad who liked it too.....if for some reason the band can't play this song, we'll go with "I loved her first"...sent the reception worksheet back to the band w/this song choice along w/the other songs we would like played at our wedding (i.e. wedding party intro song, first dance, father/dtr, mother/son, last dance, etc)    they needed it no later than 3mo prior to the wedding.....and our wedding is exactly 3mo from tomorrow :-)
