    Yeah, she pretty much sucks at life. It's cool. Lets all just be grateful and thankful that she didn't have girls. Maykious - before we got to our hotel on our wedding night, I had a few of my BM help me OUT of my spanx and get me into my sexy underwear. I didn't want Jeff seeing my in the scuba suit (what I call spanx) on our wedding night! ; ) Now, he sees me all the time. There goes the mystery!

    BalletBride - I do remember that! Isn't Tom Thumb cake just amazing?! LOVE that cake! hahahahaI hope I either get one of David's stepmom's cakes or a Tom Thumb cake at my shower for cereal! I miss working with my parents because we always got a Tom Thumb  cake for the birthdays. MMMMMM Now I want Tom Thumb cake! Thanks! hehe

    Texting, yes...it is doing just that. Like I said earlier, I am a shy girl, so I hide behind my text messages. It's terrible...I wish I could break myself of it.

    I would be pretty mad at my bridesmaid but really just let it go. Speaking of spanx ruelala is having a sale on them today. :) I wil send my secret sale code if anyone want is interested In all honesty I think the board is just sick of people posting stuff then saying they don't want opinions. Don't want it don't post it!

    I would agree that texting is ruining the skill of proper communication.I admit I want instant gratification about 95% of the time. If not 99%. I am not very good at self discipline!

    Ditto about Facebook and Texting...but I'm as guilty as anyone else.  Talking on the phone bothers me now.  At least I am aware of what it has done to me though... I'm sure that others are not...and about World of Warcraft.  I wasn't bashing people that do it.  To each their own, we all have hobbies!  I just don't need to know about it.

    Did anyone else get a little pissed off when they saw Letterman announce that he had sex with multiple co-workers?  And the fact that the only reason he came out and admitted to this was because he was being extorted?  As I was watching it, I got the feeling that he was trying to blame the whole thing on the guy extorting him.  Like Letterman was the victim.  Excuse me, your family is the victim and you were the one that caused all of this.  You weren't taken advantage of, so stop trying to spin it that way.

    Apple, luckily I had it scheduled to be ready the day before. My SIL was going to add chocolate covered strawberries to it. We went to pick it up, walked into the store to the bakery, said we were there to pick up a cake and the lady gets all excited "OH THE PRINCESS CAKE!!" Uh no. The manager would never come out. SIL embarassed MIL so bad that she took off in her little motorized cart the entire time lol. We ended up getting the cake half price, free chocolate covered strawberries, and free delivery the day of. The delivered it and it tasted great, however, the design was sooooo sloppy.

    I'm a little late on the spanx train...but I was astonished when two of my friends told me their sorority required all members to wear spanx during rush.Way to promote bad body image...

    Your SIL is crazy, Emi. Does she wear a push up bra, ever? I saw the Letterman "confession" last night and thought it was so weird that the audience awkwardly laughed through the whole thing, like they were waiting for a punch line but it never came. I also hate that Letterman tried to make it like he is the victim. Extortion or not he still had SEVERAL affairs with his employees!

    I have one!  It drives me crazy when people post on here upset that they haven't received any gifts of off their registry yet.  I am sure that they know this (I hope), but every time I have to force myself not to reply and say that their wedding isn't about the gifts.
