So I ordered a garter from etsy back in July. August came and went, I didn't hear anything from the seller. September came, I wrote a polite email to her asking when my garter was going to be done. No response. So today I wrote a rather snippy email asking for my money back. I mean, it's been 3 months since my order and I haven't heard a single thing from the seller. She wrote me back apologizing and saying she would cancel my order. She also said that my garter was scheduled to be made in November "with all the other 2010 brides". So now I feel bad because her email was very apologetic....but seriously?? You're going to make me wait until November to get my garter when I ordered it in July? I understand I still have awhile until my wedding, but doesn't that seem like a shady business practice? Putting off orders for brides who aren't getting married for several months, just so you can take more orders from more recent brides?Okay, vent over. Was I wrong to be snippy and cancel my order though?
