How is everyone doing today? I think its going to be a good day. My buddy at work just got back from NYC and brought me a cookie, so I have that to look forward to, AND were all going out for lunch. Its always a blast when we go out for lunch. I fully expect today to be pointless at work, because the VP commented to me yesterday that everyone knows that the friday of a short week is pretty much a vacation day cause no one does anything. Im taking that as an invitation!
I have to take vin for a follow up at the vet after work. Im pretty positive he is still a bit tender, but fine. He was lugging his heart (this big heart plush toy) around lastnight and sucking on a corner, and thats the first time Ive seen him put anything in his mouth since last week so I think thats a good sign.
Re: Good Morning!
Um, what??? (edit, i found TWO people posting it, went in and the one person only has one board full of these weirdo pins, unfollowed and now both people are gone. even weirder)
My power has been out since last Friday and I've been told that it might be on again today. That would be a great way to start the weekend!

So, my little brother popped the question last night and is engaged. Pretty much everyone in the family knew it was coming except for her. I'm happy for him, provided they wait until after graduation and getting jobs before getting married (which is their plan, thankfully). I like them together and wish them the best, but they aren't ready to get married.
I realized last night though why it kind of bums me out. I'm kind of sad that he's growing up. I'd love a life do-over where I could go back and hang out with him and be closer, be a better sister. We won't get that chance anymore, since it's now him and her instead of just him.
work, then mini pre-birthday celebration for me at my house. Just buying a couple bottles of wine and some fancy cheese. i love fancy cheese.

</div><div>Congrats to your brother, Sesh. I couldn't imagine not knowing H was going to propose. We had several conversations about it prior, plus he wanted to go ring shopping. I mean I didn't know exactly when or how he was going to do it but I knew it was coming in the not so distant future.

Yes FI and I both get paid on the same schedule of every other Friday. It makes payday seem better to get such an increase lol.
Shay, my mom and stepdad were with my brother when he got the thing. And they can't keep a secret, so yeah, we all knew. I'll say though, I'm surprised because I always thought he'd be a player so I'm proud of him for not being a douche like my stepbrother. He's been with her since like 11th grade (not that that says too much considering they are only 19 and 20, but still).
Ricks, when do you graduate?
Posted by edielaura
May 2013. BUT I have to go back to my other school to finish two or 3 Grad classes so Dec 2013 from grad school. I will have 3 BS degrees and a MS at that time lol
Hi- part time lurker here,<strong> I just want to say thank you guys for keeping me entertained during this very slow week.</strong> *Number55* On a completely unrelated topic- I love the tuxes your guys wore at your wedding. Do you mind me asking what brand/where you got them?

weird.
Good morning. I'm glad the pup appears to be doing better, Nebb! Good luck at the follow up. We have a new person starting at work today. Hopefully this means at least some of this workload will be more evenly distributed. I'm swamped and it's stressful. So, my uncle passed away this week and I've been asked to play taps at the grave side service on Sunday. I know I should, and I hate to say no but I'm just not sure I can do it. I don't know, I need to tell them by today, but I've got to go home and play it a few time and see if I can actually get through it... Too many funerals going on lately.

</div><div>Good morning everybody!</div><div>Shay, I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. I can't imagine playing taps for someone I know. I can rarely get through listening to it without crying.</div><div>

<div>Not that weird- just like reading the threads, you guys seem like pretty sarcastic, funny women. And a large number of my clients are government workers, so my office has been dead all week, so not a lot to do.</div>
Nebb- glad Vin is feeling better!
Sorry about your uncle, Shay. If you don't think you can make it through, just let them know. I'm sure they'll understand.
Congrats to your brother, Sesh? How old is he?
aaaand hi PSU! Tell us about yourself.
My work a/c is finally going again! I walked in to the office and it was almost chilly. It feels fantastic- it's been so muggy and nasty in here the last week. I think we're finally getting a break in the heat tomorrow too. I just want to sleep with my windows open.
H is hanging out with the guys tomorrow night, and I convinced him to just plan on staying at his friend's place so I don't have to worry about when to pick him up (they'll all be drinking. a lot.) So now I'm trying to figure out what to do since I'll have the house to myself

<div>Anything you would like to know in particular? Besides the important- I love nerd movies, chick lit, and watermelon martinis, not necessarily in that order. </div>

both H and I got invited to grillout/parties and he asked me this morning if we should stick together and OH JOY I can drive him home, or if he should just stay at his buddies place. Definitely prefer if he stays at the guys'. Otherwise I get woken up at 4 to be told, "I made a pizza, do you want a bite?"
PSUbride...the tuxes were rentals and I had nothing to do with them...DH and his Best Woman went to rent them and I think it was from a Canadian retailer (Tip Top). Sorry...but to be honest I never really thought about the tuxes much...they got black tuxes, don't they all kind of look the same?
Posted by number55
<div>They do for the most part- there are a few little nuances that make them different. I just prefer a more modern cut, which is what yours look to be. </div>

Steph, do you have any nursery or baby related projects you've been wanton to do?
