Donkey saying that she will donate some to charity reminds me of that part in Miss Congeniality where Sandra Bullock's character adds in "...and world peace" to the end of her answer and the crowd goes wild.Maybe she plans on going to McDonald's and dropping in the loose change she gets back into the Ronald McDonald House collection box.

Part of the art of throwing an online poll is uniting behind a single answer. It wouldn't work if everyone just voted for anyone else but Donkey. You have to put the whole effort of the board behind one other option.

I have been ignoring these posts because I didn't find much of a purpose to it. That is, until now that I am avoiding work.I just read one post from The Spohrs and my heart is broken. She is a great writer with a touching message.WTF do the Bump chicks smoke? I always see the Donkey love, but I have never seen one reason for it. In the past, I have opened up her blog because they all rave about it. I don't think I have ever been able to get through one post. Nuts...and boring.

I would vote for Spohrs on merit too. It's a touching story that is well-written. Donkey's is a bitchfest, crap promotion that is not well-written.

Donkey bores me. I don't find her funny or amusing or ever one to offer an "Aha!" moment. I am voting against her for those reasons alone. Howev, her wedding was pretty cool, but that's not the point.

I voted again and again. I read the Spohrs blog regularly and find it very touching. My dog died yesterday and I am very sad about it. I cannot even fathom how much pain losing a child would cause.

LAW I am sorry about your dog. I don't think it is us vs. Donkey and her zombies. I think a lot of people have read the Spohrs and have been touched. They aren't just doing it to get attention a la Donkey/Balloon boy's dad.
