    It's my Wednesday night and I just found out that apparentky convection ovens don't cook off liquids the way conventional ovens do.  So my casserole was more in the soup/stew range.  I just want my own kitchen again...

    Good mornin all. I have yet to have my coffee and am seriously grumpy. So in an effort not to "fuel my fire" I will just say good morning for now ;)

    kdc, it was still incredibly tasty, but now I am concerned about cakes etc. Why do people like these things?  I prefer a good old fashioned gas oven.

    My parents new house has a convection oven - I gave her a banana bread recipe and she said it ended up dark on the outside and raw in the middle. I think you end up having to lower cooking temps to allow things to cook through.
