anyone getting or got married in cape ann?

Im starting to look for room blocks in Gloucester and Rockport Ma and everything is 2 night min.. so does anyone have any names of hotels or inn they used? thanks everyone

    Try Cape Ann Marina Resort...that's where I had my block of rooms.  I had the same problem, every place was a 2 night min. but this place wasnt.

    Fi's sister got married in Gloucester in early september and ran into the same hotel block problem. They decided to block rooms at the Peabody Marriott and run a shuttle. Compared the inns in the area it was a 1000x nicer for the everyone to get ready in and stay in.

    I am getting married in Gloucester this October and have rooms blocked off at the Rockport Inn and Suites, seems to be the only hotel not req. a min this summer.

    I got married in Gloucester- I would agree with the pp's that the above suggestions are your best bet.  By the time I found the Cape Ann Marina they were booked for my date, so good luck to you!!

    Another option is the Crowne Plaza Boston North Shore in Danvers and running a shuttle...

    We have blocked at the Rockport Inn and Suites--but they book up fast, we did our room block last June, I am getting Married July 31st.

    Ditto on the Rockport Inn and Suites! They were the most accomodating with no night min and no charges for holding rooms, etc. Also we found a lot of places in Gloucester do not want your wedding guests!

    We also have some guests who are going the Hotwire route to find rooms in Peabody/Wakefield which are about half the price.
