  • Probably spaghetti because I can't run to the store until tonight.  Crock pot beef stew it is tomorrow though.
  • That's what I have brewing at home right now, so same as you. Unfortunately, I can't smell it from here.
  • I'm alone tonight, but I'm making baked chicken with red potatoes and lemon pepper green beans. It'll be great for leftovers at work tomorrow, yummmm :)

  • Probably nothing :( I'm at the office all day and then I go to BR to close.  By the time I get home I crash.

  • Well, if it's anything like last night:  Vodka and crackers.PS.  My favorite line EVER in 2.5 men is when Charlie refers to his Mom's breasts as "Vodka Knockers."Jake hears this and says "Who is this Vod Kaknockers you speak of.  The name's Kaknockers, Vod Kaknockers."Random.  I know.

  • Farfalle noodles with 'princess sauce' topped with scallops and shrimp, asparagus on the side, and a bottle of cab.

  • I might saute some shrimp I have in the freezer (though im iffy about eating it since i found out after freezing it that it had already been frozen and thawed) that i might add to leftover stirfry I had lastnight. If I can scrounge it up i might just buy new shrimp.
  • Probably leftover pot roast. All the best cold weather food comes from crock pots. I'm kind of obsessed with mine.

  • turkey and cheese on wheat and baked beans! yeah... not so exciting.

  • I'm guessing a ham and cheddar sandwich and maybe some tomato soup. But maybe not. I'm on my own at dinner time.  If I take dinner to DH (read: Sonic or Wendy's tonight - it's a Chipotle-free week), then I'll get something from there. Then tomorrow will be soup and sandwich.Whatever it is, it would have to be better than the three bites of crapola I just had for lunch.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • crock pot Taco Soup. similar to chili...with taco seasoning.
  • I've got a pork tenderloin in the crock pot right now with a sweet onion.  I'm thinking that maybe I'll pick up a squash to have with it, but I'm not sure...

  • I'm making baked spaghetti.  My FI has been bugging me to cook it for the past week.
  • Turkey in the oven right now, cranberries on the stove for a cranberry mayonnaise, porcini stuffing in the fridge waiting to bake and I'm just about to get cracking on the pumpkin pie.  I'll do some garlic parsley mashed potatoes later.
  • Nothing in the making yet.  I am prepping a crock pot meal for tomorrow tonight though.  So, all I have to do is take the ceremic part out of the fridge in the morning... put it on the base and start it.  Yay.I am eating a salad for lunch though.  Boring.

  • leftover tacos from last night. we're eating our way through everything in our fridge/pantry that will expire while we're gone. Nebb, I wouldn't eat those shrimp.
  • We're having dinner with our coordinator tonight so hopefully something delicious that we don't have to pay for :)
  • Nachos with chorizo.  Speaking of chili: you know how a lot of people eat chili with cornbread?  I saw a recipe that had you cook the chili with the bread actually in it. It was also chicken instead of beef.  I made it once and it was a little curious at first, but turned out pretty tasty.
  • Anna -- Decide to have Thanksgiving early?
  • I have an fundraising event tonight for my senior capstone show, so I'm hoping that stepdad will want to go out to eat after he comes out here! Otherwise, it will be a Lean Cuisine at around 11pm when I get home.
  • Kate- that sounds delicious!  If you have the recipe please post :)
  • Yeah I figured as much mandapanda. I am terrified of self induced food poisoning so they have sat in my freezer for 2 months. Im so mad I wasted 12$ on that.
  • kate-that sounds good.  Can you email me that chicken chili/bread recipe?  greg.karen.wedding at gmail.com

  • B will be grilling hamburgers and baking fries since I won't get home until after 8. I have a Stats test, then hitting the gym. I was going to make Crock Pot Chicken & Dumplings for dinner tomorrow, but we didn't take out any chicken to thaw, so that'll be Friday. Tomorrow's dinner is now up in the air. Maybe Chicken Parmesan.
  • SarahSmile, that sounds sooooo good.

  • H is making chili in the crock pot at home, as we speak. I love it when he has days off :)GA - I can you send me your recipe for chicken and dumplings? That sounds so yummy!

  • Ditto Nebb.....definitely don't eat those shrimp, unless you are looking to lose some weight through food poisoning : ) I forgot to take anything out of the freezer to thaw, and the rest of the meals I had planned for the week require meat that is in the freezer. So, if DH gets home early enough I'll have him take out the salmon and we'll have grilled salmon and potatos. Or, maybe we'll grab something out.
