I haven't been in Michaels in a good while. Post wedding, I kind of went through withdrawl, but I've finally overcome my addiction.And Cew, come on down. Atlanta isn't that far from NC. There will be plenty.

Good morning! Dudley - **hugs** I'm so sorry. I really should be cleaning the apt since we have one of my friends coming over for dinner but there is just so much stuff (leftover wedding stuff, mail from when we were on our HM, an unopened present) that I don't even know where to start. Which, is rare for me b/c I'm an organization freak.

Birthday was good. Very low key day. My super sweet DH got me a new watch, some earrings and gorgeous flowers even though I told him not to spend too much money since we're totally broke from the wedding. I got the oddest email from my mother last night wishing me happy birthday. She told me there's a small but thoughtful gift on the way and that her life's just crazy right now. Neither of my parents called me yesterday because both of their days were so busy. WTF? I'm so glad DH is my new family.

It's actually kinda OK with me that they didn't call b/c they suck (mostly my mom) in general and I would like the phase them out of my life as much as possible. Thanks for the hugs though! DH posted some while we were in Greece. We just got back a ton last night that we'd taken on the film camera I bought him so hopefully we can put up more. First, he's gotta photoshop out the giant zits I had on both cheeks during the entire HM before I let that stuff go up to the world!
