    aww, thanks Spucc!  We actually first met in preschool.  One of Joel's best friends (now) was my "boyfriend", and Joel's "girlfriend" apparently was my arch nesmesis.  I cut her hair and go sent home :)

They were beautiful and everyone ended up loving them despite the "ohh...fake" comments we got prior to the wedding :-)

    caitie, those centerpieces sound gorgeous! my best friend has lanterns for her centerpieces, but isn't sure yet how she wants to incorporate flowers or decoration on them. do you have any pics?

    Haha!  FI died laughing when my mom told him that.  she took out our preschool class picture one day and he told us that was his girlfriend and my mom was like you're kidding!  I guess her parents called our house haha.  I'm such a wild child.Caitie, I'm kiiind of obsessed with lanterns.

    Thanks, Spuccio. They came out great. A family friend of DH works with silks for restaurants so she had access to really high end flowers. My MIL and the family friend made all 24 of the centerpieces and our head table arrangements.     spucc, we're working on it! CT is ok for now, but I don't think I could handle more than another year or two away from our families, though. It gets tougher and tougher on weekends home to face the drive back down here. And holidays are so darn complicated! And we miss living amongst Red Sox fans. There are many things we miss. And it would be nice to be able to make a Boston GTG once in a while! Esmerelda???? - did I miss something? lol
