    I wish you all the best and I am very sorry that you are going through this.  I know that we have never met, but if you ever need to talk let me know.  I have been divorced and know how you are feeling. Just keep your head up and talk to people and remember to also smile!

    Also, Linnette...sounds like you have been going through this for awhile, but just wanted to say to make sure you are doing EVERYTHING to protect yourself (take 50% of any savings into an account with your name  ONLY on it, order your credit report, cancel any credit cards of yours with his name on it, get an attorney, etc. etc.).

    Thanks everyone. Atty...we didn't really have any joint accounts or checking...we split what was in the savings as of right now. The only thing that is going to be tough is jay buying me out for the house since he is keeping it. Legally its a little hazy on if he has to buy me out or not.

    Hey Linette, I hope you are hanging in there!  I actually noticed your status/name change on FB a while back but wasn't sure whether you were ready to talk - I know we haven't in a while but I am always here if you need an ear.  I have to say though, I am so amazed at your strength and ability to bounce back.  I love that you are throwing yourself into photography, which I know you have always been passionate about and I am really happy for you that you have found something you love doing!
