Morning everyone!  I'm freakin' exhausted, even though I did nothing fun last night.  I've had this nasty cough since last week, and it's causing me to be awake all night coughing.  I haven't slept more than a couple of hours in the last 4 nights.  Pretty sure I'll be useless at work today.
Posted by kikibaby
Have you tried heavy duty cough syrup? Or have you gone to the doctor?

I've gotten a cough that lasted weeks twice in college and the doctor finally had to prescribe cough syrup with codeine so I could just sleep!
• Good morning! Nothing fun last night, just bagel pizzas and AI. I'm feeling better this week because it looks like my rash might be banished for good *crossing fingers* because I've been dousing myself in steroid cream. As long as I'm not all spotty on our cruise, all will be well.
• Good morning!

We didn't do anything exciting last night.  Just packed a couple more boxes (box related injuries in our apt are now up to 4) and DH made some yummy dinner.  I ended up with a headache and it's still around this morning.  Not happy about that at all.

Only 6 more days at this stupid job, though!  Oh, and I leave on Sunday for my final (hopefully) interviews for the job I really want in Austin.
• Georgia, is that Chipper Jones in  your sig? I met him once at Disney. He looks a LOT like Ex, which makes my skin crawl. But at least he's less douchey-looking and isn't trying to emulate the cast of Jersey Shore.  :)
• Good Morning!!  Didn't do anything too exciting last night.  I went to yoga and then went to bed.

I've tried 3 different cough syrups, Mucinex, and the Neti Pot.  I drink hot tea all day long and take hot baths.  Nothing is helping so far.

I was supposed to go to the doctor this morning, but I realized I really didn't have the money.  My copay is out of control.  BUT, if this continues, I'll go in during their walk-in hours on Saturday morning.

• Split your tea with whiskey and add lemon juice and honey and it will soothe your cough, kiki. True story!
• morning! We had dinner at my parents' place last night...my littlest sister came out for a visit. Thank God that doesn't happen often. We don't get a long, no one gets along with her, and because she only come home once every 3 or 4 months (she lives an hour away), she feels all "out of touch" with everyone. If you're out of touch with everyone, pick up your phone when they call, reply when they text or email...and preferrably not at 3 am. Nothing pisses me off more when I text you, and you don't respond until 3 am. Just because you're up, doesn't mean I am. GAH.

AND. She was only wearing one earring. Apparently this is some sort of new trend?

• Yep, Bec. I've been in love with ol' Chip since sophomore year of HS, circa 1997. I used to be obsessed with him, but as an adult, it's just regular fandom. I'm sorry he reminds you of EX. He'll be replaced with vacation pics around the 2nd week of April, so don't fret!
• Sweet- on tonight's list: whiskey in my mouth and Vick's on my feet.

Oh yeah, I know how to party.

• My older sister does this! She lives in TX, so she comes home once a year or so, stirs all sorts ofshit up between everyone, and then blows back out of town. It's exhausting. She and my younger sister barely speak because of it all. I feel sorry for her, but then I get frustrated with her, so I'm glad she's so far away and doesn't live close enough to constantly stir theshit. She just retired from the military, and I'm terrified she'll move within driving distance to home in the next few years!

One of my best friends has the same crush.  Started around the same time too.
• Goooooooooood morning.

Last night I ate Au Gratin chips (haven't had them since I was a wee child and they were so awesome) and played WoW.  And read.  I'm reading this awesome book called The Murder Stone.  I'm finding that the author does a bit too much head hopping at times, but the story is really good.

And it's based in Canada, by a Canadian author.

I feel awful - I'm exhausted, sore and weak thanks to what appares to be some bizarre form of flu.  The nausea comes and goes so I eat when I feel hungry - last night it was at 10pm.  I've felt this way since Sunday so basically I have zero energy to do anything and I'm only dragging my butt to work because I have a deadline tomorrow that I'm avoiding anyway.  Ugh - html tables.

• Hope you feel better soon, Moose!

• I had the same crush, until I realized I was looking for the taller, smarter, richer version of my EX. :)

I forgot to look where you're located, but in FL there is this nero (sp?) virus going around that is a huge kick in the ass.  I know two people that have gotten it.  I'm sorry you're not feeling well />:(
• I'm in Canada.  There's some weird stuff going through the office.  My cubemate has ongoing headaches and migraines, another guy on the team had time off last week for a migraine, one of our PMs has a cold, our supervisor was out sick for almost a week and now I've got whatever this is.

No one seems to have the same symptoms at all except the two people with migraines.

• Bec, that's funny! Chipper was a philanderer back in the day, so maybe he and your EX aren't so different after all!

Moose, sounds like your building is killing you all slowly!! Get out while you can!

Oh sucky.  I'm sorry.

I hate when stuff is just "going around" and no one knows what it is, how they got it, or how to feel better.

I hope you kick it soon!

This was actually my first instinct. With so many of you ill with widely varying symptoms, you may be exposing yourselves to mold or some other allergen in the workplace.
• Good morning my fine ladies! I just wanted to pop in and say hi and blow some kisses. I have been super MIA busy with work and it is not looking better any time soon. I miss you all! :(

That was my first thought too after reading about your other co-workers having random illnesses!

FI's brother is exactly the same way. He moved 2,000 miles away and acts like the entire world needs to stop and bow down when he comes back home. He never calls or emails anyone and then acts all put off when something happens and he's not told about it immediately. And whenever he's here, he gets everyone all riled up about something then just disappears again. What is wrong with these people??

This is the same person that FI fired from the wedding party a month or two ago...
• VALLY!  Congratulations!  I wanna hear all about your wedding.  Tell me.  Now.
