Wedding Party

No Flower Girl, but I've got a little boy!

We don't have a little gal for a flower girl, but we do have an adorable little man who we'd LOVE to include in the wedding.  I don't want to have him tossing flowers and we've already got a ring bearer.  What can we do?

  • You can have two ring bearers.  You could get them each a pillow and put one of the "rings" on each.  Or give him a stuffed animal or something.  The RB's only job is to look cute.

  • Have him be a second ring bearer.

  • My friend had 3 ring bearers last year. They were all brothers.  The oldest one pulled the littler ones in a wagon. Toooo cute!

  • Ring bearers typically don't carry the real rings anyway.  They are in the safe control of the BM and/or MOH.  So if you want him in the wedding, have 2 RBs.  Their sole function in a wedding is cute, so why not?

Will you be less married if you have two RBs?  However, I will say that my niece nannies a little boy, and he was to walk with the FG at her wedding.

Toddler FG froze, and the little5 year old  guy decided that flowers had to be tossed.  So he took over.  And he didn't just gently sprinkle flowers on the floor.  Nope, he took handfuls and threw them as hard as he could to the floor.  Another step....another handful.  It was pretty funny, and people got a kick out of it.

  • Make him a second ring bearer.
