I'm home because my head is exploding and trying to detach itself at the throat and ears. This means that i am watching bad tv. There was a commercial on where they were whispering pzazz over and over, but it sounded like pussay. Any other bad advertising you've encountered recently?

It's not new, but the Clearblue easy pregnancy test one where there is a pregnancy test spinning around and a stream of urine shoots out of the corner of the screen onto it. And says, the easiest thing you'll ever have to pee on.
But I remember the brand so maybe it is really brilliant marketing.

I don't remember which pregnancy test it is, but the commercial that says "8 out of 10 women misread a pregnancy test." The first time we saw that, my mom said "If they're misreading a pregnancy test, they probably shouldn't be having sex."

I don't know why, but I find the 1-800 contacts commercials with the overly dramatic couple very funny. I like when the wife says to her H, "look, with your special eyes". That, and the Hanes socks add when a dad and his kid are making plaster socks.

Night, Iowa City has the worst radio commercial's ever. Particularly Smulekoff's (downtown Ce-dar Rap-pids) and Linder Tire Service.

I also dislike the radio commercial here for a place called Kansas Sampler, advertising "everything Kansas that you need." Who needs ANYTHING Kansas-related? Why does such a place exist?

Oh God. This post reminded me of an AWFUL local plumbing commercial that plays on the morning news. It's this gigantic, blobby redneck tinkering with the toilet, and off-set his wife yells, "Whut's wro-ung, hunny?" and he yells "Tha plummin's becked up an I gotta go!" then it shows him running to the woods holding his pants up in one hand and TP in the other and he yells "I shudda cawlled Rays!" The same redneck voice then says, "Cawl Ray's fer all yer plummin needs!"

I really hate where I live sometimes.

I can believe I like a minivan ad, but I like those new ones where the mom is taking a "time out" in the drive way. Or the one where the dad gets all sh*tty because the other dad got the same minivan and options he got, so his isn't as cool anymore.

November, i also laugh at the "special eyes" commercial too. "My brand!"

I love the new M&Ms commercial where the guy opens up the cupboard and all this food starts getting thrown at him. Then he tells the M&Ms "Get in the bowl," and the red one responds, "YOU get in the bowl."

I, too, like the minivan ads with the pissy dad and the mom reclining in the drive.

I hate the Eukanuba optimum pooper commercial. Sadly, J and I walk around saying that about our dog a lot. Then it's funny.
