[QUOTE]In Response to Re: Confession/vent/need advice? : I think you are right.   It's not only DH, but the groom as a lot of friends from TX coming also.  They are all going to be on vacation in the islands.  Woo Hoo.   It's a different mindset than just going to your friend's local wedding KWIM? oh and that is not a record drinking for us.  It just was a little surprising at 9:30am, coming from a bunch of 40+ year olds on a work incentive trip.  I expected that pace a little later in the day.

I know what you mean.  I will probably be drinking there more than usual because I anticipate some highly delicious rum-based tropical beverages!

So what's your approximate record alcohol intake?  In college our friends consistently did about a case per person in about 6 hours.  Yep, I'm friends with a bunch of drunks.  At least they're all older now and can't quite keep up with that pace anymore.

You are wise Pink. You are very wise.

I'm pretty sure I'm not getting saved, so I'll be around for a few more Saturdays at least ;)
  • Oh I don't expect to be raptured but I do want to enjoy some delicious tastes of food before I'm left behind in the earthquake wreckage.

  • I'm not sure our record.   But I have to laugh at some of the poster on the knot who like people over the age of 40 do not drink a lot.  Clearly they have never hung out here.

another vent:   I'm 2 people away from working tonight.   I really do not want to work because the weather sucks...

My SIL's ex-husband went out to Ybor City in Tampa the night before the wedding for his bachelor party.  Not only did he get sh*t face wasted and not come back until 3 hours before the wedding the next day, but we later found out they all also got coked out and spend some QT with an "escort". I'm SO glad Noodle decided not to go even though he was invited. Although I wasn't surprised, because we both (along with the rest of the family) knew he was a giant douchenozzle.

  • Thanks Birdie. I know it's stupid to be annoyed by but oh well.

    Lol, TR.

MS -- I love your name.  It took a lot of self control to not lash out at the person on that other thread questioning the extra-T version of it.
  • Oh.. what kind of earthquakes are we talking?

We have had 15 earthquakes in the last 15 hours or so.  I wonder what magnitude I need to get worried about.
