Dear______,

Re: Dear______,

  • Dear Chief Justice Roberts:

You surprised me as well today. And a sincere thank you to your bodyguards who caught me as I tumbled down the IU law school stairs two years ago when I was frantically running to get a good seat at your speech. I also appreciate the hug that you accepted from me afterwards - I was the girl wearing pearls and stilettos, I am sure you remember me.

    Love and kisses,

[QUOTE]Dear Mom, Thanks for asking your coworker if she and her husband would like to attend the wedding. Two weeks before the wedding. Once we've finished the seating chart. Since you have 4tables worth of friends and I have 3 tables worth of friends, I think that is logical to keep adding to your friends tables. xxoxoox Sarcasm-zilla

For realz. I need to FWD this to my FILs and change "wedding" to "wedding AND rehearsal dinner".

RSVP solo. It's too late. I don't want to wait for two weeks to give my final number to the caterer just so you can see if you can find a man that is capable of being forced to go to a wedding. If you do end up bringing someone, my fiance is going to accuse you of hiring a male prostitute to stand in as a date, similar to the aptly named movie "The Wedding Date."

    sorry bout cha!

Yeah, the one that came in the mail on Tuesday is totally wrong -- it's the wrong width and doesn't match the e-ring at all, and doesn't fit next to/under the rock. The jeweler doesn't think he can the correct one by next week, particularly because he doesn't have written down ANYWHERE what my e-ring setting width is so he wants me to go to a jeweler, have them size it, then give him the serial number, etc. etc. He seems like a total hack.

So, we're going to have to get a refund from him and go somewhere like Tiffany's and do a rush order on a new band. Fantastic, right? Two weeks before the wedding? Precisely what I want to be doing.

    Dear venue lady,

Oh ok, so you don't actually do anything? That's nice to know NOW! Your contract should say catering and decor only since apparently that's all you do. Every other venue I know offers full coordination for AT LEAST the day of. Had I not been lied to before, I would have hired a different catering company to come to your venue.. a company that would have taken care of everything for me like they're supposed to!

    Thanks for nothing,
Considering more and more everyday putting you on blast after the wedding :)

Ok, I remember reading that they messed the size up, didn't know they wouldn't be able to fix it for you and now you have to rush order from somewhere else! I'm so sorry! That is so wrong :-( Tiffany's at least you know has grade A service :-)

  • Dear Feet and Toes,

Why do you constantly reject the cute heels I put on you?  Just let it happen, ok?  I'm going to have to buy stock in Band Aids because of you dummies.  You've got 23 days to get used to it so my pretty white satin sandals aren't red before the ceremony is even over.

    Thanks, babies,

It works I've done it!!  Just did the socks thing though, not the hair dryer since I did mine on 'patent' plastic.

<div>I pinned that one, too... let us know if it works!</div><div>
</div><div>Another method I have tried and works (but seems more complicated) is to fill a ziplock bag with water, put it inside the shoe, and put the shoe inside the freezer for a few hours. As the water freezes into ice, it slowly expands, stretching the shoes just slightly. </div>

I don't know where you vanished to, but I'm kind of busy with planning and thank you cards and RD info and on and on. If you could help me out just a teeny bit I would be ever so greatful. You can even pick two, laundry, dishes, putting shower gifts in a home, or whatever else. I won't hold you to the toilet though. :)

    Dear Postal Worker,

Please release my missing RSVP's. I know you are hiding them. 3 have been mailed in May and have not arrived. Now I'm assuming a 4th as we got a lovely card for my shower and it said "We can't wait to meet you." Now you are making me assume people are coming but with no straight answers. I'm about to go B!tchfest at you soon.

You are making me go postal,

Dear everyone who we asked to be a part of our special day,

Where is your help?!  I bought you all thank-you gifts months ago, thinking you were going to be as awesome as you've been the rest of your lives.  I naively thought you'd help plan my shower and bachelorette and help with wedding crafts and picking music you want to hear played, but now I have no flippin' idea what I'm thanking you for.  My Mom organized and paid for the shower, the bachelorette is still not planned and forget about tedious craft projects you said you "couldn't wait to be involved with". I thought BMs were supposed to be helpful, or at least pick up their own dresses and actually look for shoes to wear- why am I doing everything?  Could you at least ANSWER YOUR PHONE and let me know what's going on with this stuff?!

And GM- would it kill you to RSVP? Yes, we know you're coming. But let me know so I can check you off please.

    Love,
Bitter about being the first bride...zilla

    Dear Mom,

When I tell you I don't care about having bagpipes at the wedding and need to check with FI and the church first, that does not mean go ahead and book it.  FI hates the idea and now you've made this awkward.

    Love,
Barely Irish so there's no need to spend time/$300 on this
